  • This is actually a lot of fun. Portable too.
The media could not be loaded. The game is straightforward and easy to jump into without reading a lot of instructions. There are two ways to play. 1) Choose who goes first and take turns stacking any piece the player chooses until someone loses by causing the tower to tip over. or 2) Players draw from the stack of the included cards to determine the piece that must be stacked next. Play continues as directed by the cards until someone causes the tower to tip over. There are plenty of pieces. I don't think we have come close to using them all. This game is good for exercising 3-dimensional thinking, focus/concentration, coordination and strategic planning. My daughter and I have had fun playing this on our game night when we usually make popcorn and play a few quick playing games and one long playing game. This is one of the quicker games that adds some fun variety to our game night. It's easy to pack up and stores compactly in a box that is about 8"x8"x4". ... show more

  • Enjoyable But Something Else
Got this Tetris-like puzzle game for my two grandchildren, who are very creative and will enjoy it. However, I had to check it out for myself first. First it's a Chinese product with no instructions whatsoever. You have to deduce from the pictures on the box ( the included "carrying case") and the Amazon ad as to how to setup and play the game. However, it can be played with in several other ways (see my photo) that are never mentioned in the ad or with the game. It can be played with as a horizontal puzzle, or vertical puzzle or game, alone or with a group. Since this product is sold on Amazon by several different companies, with several different names, it's helpful to view the product pictures and descriptions to find out some of the different ways in which the blocks can be used and played with. It's a shame this company didn't at least include some photos of the variety of ways the blocks can be used, because it's actually much more than they describe. I give this a 4 rating simply because I didn't like the lack of even basic instructions and suggestions for other ways to use it. Some buyers may have difficulty as a result. ... show more

  • Weird game
This Tetris tower is kinda fun but also not. There are several pieces but really only a handful of ways to stack them. The cards are writing funny and there's only so many. My kids have more fun stacking the blocks by themselves than playing the game.

  • Not just for kids!
I got this to have on hand to play when my 7 and 9 yo grandkids are here. When it arrived my husband and I decided we should do a test run - we laughed so much while playing and realized what a good workout our brains were getting as we tried to find the best place to put each piece. The kids love playing it with us - the fact that they have just as good a chance of winning as we do if they think about their moves is a big draw 😏 They quickly picked up the importance of studying all of the options and thinking a few steps ahead. Sometimes we have to impose a time limit for each turn because they think a little too long! Teeny, teeny, tiny complaint that we easily solved: it Is a challenge to get them to fit back into the box and be able to close the lid so we have started to keep all of the pieces in a gallon sized zipper bag instead of the box! Lots of family fun - even when the kids went here! ... show more

  • This has been a hit with the kids!
This is an interesting game. I love how the kids need to think about whereto place a piece. The cards make it a bit challenging which I like. It is a bit like the game Tetris (yes I am aging myself). You get random pieces as the card you draw determines the piece you have to place on the base. Once you have your piece you have to figure out how to place it on the base without it tipping over and we also add that you can't leave an empty space. It is challenging at times, but its great for getting the brain thinking and problem solving. My biggest dislike about this game, is that its one of those things that once you get it out of the box it somehow never all goes back in. This makes for storing it between uses a bit of a pain. I will need to find something to store all the pieces in so we don't loose them. ... show more

  • Fun, but not amazing
This is a fun stacking game reminiscent of Tetris. You stack the blocks strategically on the balancing platform (which I must say is sufficiently sturdy, and the blocks themselves are, as well) so that you can get them to reach as high as possible without falling. It doesn't come with very clear instructions, so the game is easily adaptable and can be played solo or in a group. My 9 and 5 year old kids are enjoying it. My 5 year old prefers stacking them on the floor in his own way, so that's a plus that it can be played multiple ways. My reason for only 3 stars: Honestly, this is not worth $18. If it came with a nice carrying case, then MAYBE. ... show more

  • FUN!
Been seeing ads for this around and decided to try it. For something so simple, it is so fun! Get it, you won't regret!

  • Gets the job done
This is a knock-off of a very popular toy that you can easily find on Amazon. It's actually a really fun game and very easy to pick up. Unfortunately, this version comes with no instructions but you can easily figure out how to play. The pieces are sturdy and everything is well manufactured. However, the packaging feels cheap and I wish they invested some money on the packaging and instructions. Overall I recommend though! ... show more
