I was initially using this panel with an Anker Power Station 521, which can only use 60 watts from solar - the panel worked well, and since the panel is rated at 100 watts, typically maxed out the Anker's charging. I did want to see what the maximum wattage that I could get was, so I separately purchased a solar controller and battery. I was able to get a full 100 watts out of this panel (in Southern Arizona around noon, so optimal conditions). NOTE: The USB-C connection maxes out at 60 watts, and the USB-A maxes out at 18w - to get 100w out of this panel you MUST use the DC barrel connection. ... show more

The purpose of my investment in a (Jackery 300) power station capable of dual charging options (stations built in solar controller PLUS USB-C) ... But regular solar panels are just half the potential. This FlexSolar 100 watt at least offered: >More portability then my heavy suitcase 100w (albiet that has PWM controller, a bit redundant this need) >This is far more portability then my 100w full size non fold flexable panel ...But MOSTLY... > 60 watt 12 volt capable USB-C charging Which pairs far more nicely then the Jackery 5v incapable alternative at far more the cost. Life span wise and quality out of the equation, it is worth a try for something that can do what the alternative won't. It just seems counter intuitive to charge power stations from wall plugs & sunny days the goal is to charge an ebike on power stations on solar (**assuming we ignore the obvious cost of solar & equipment just to avoid a cheap outlet direct) An interesting philosophical question and only 2 days in, if the panel can handle the load, these are the numbers: solar 84w of 100w vs USB-C 53 of 60 vs both simultaneously = 96w @ only 10am slight high haze, zone 4 in the US. **If you want the depressing math on this, you will have to recharge an ebike about 2,500 times to save versus power grid electricity. More the the Lithium bike will last and likely more then the power station itself. Assuming the panel with electronics handle the load it probably is the cheapest most cost effective bit of the experiment. Somewhere far from civilization it's light to pack and pairs pretty nicely. ... show more

Climate change has caused more sunny hot days this summer. With multiple cell phones, tablets and rechargeable devices, a solar charging panel would be a sound investment. However my 1st 40w panel purchased off another brand although was well built yet extremely slow in charging. After more research, I purchased this 60w panel and am happily surprised. The strong PD/QC current of this panel charges my power banks, phones, tablets and other devices speedily. The panel itself is sturdily built with metal backing which should make it durable to use outdoor. The hinged support is probably the weak link. So I built a simple rack with PVC sprinkler pipe to support it in tilted position for charging. Since my objective is fast charging, this panel has more than met my expectation. ... show more

It works great. The panel is large. It works perfect for my solar generator. Due to bad weather our electric went out. I have been able to keep our phones charged and my living room lamp and my rechargeable camp fan and light combo.

I dont have another to compare this to, but I am very satisfied with this one. In about an hour of full evening sun my jackery 300 gained about 35% power. It folds flat and stays flat with a couple magnets and is very easy to set up.

Nice carrying case with large cord pouch. Material & zippers of adequate quality. Take your time with returning Panel to case & closing zippers. Guess what? You have the time. Solar Panel bonded to one piece of Aluminum with simple one piece attached stand. NO multi-piece frame and glass to break. Light weight & easy to set up. Has ports that face down on back to directly power your cell phone USB-C , USB-A DC 5521 port to directly power your power station. Comes with multi adaptor cords DC521 to MC-4 & DC to Anderson + 10 other connectors. After 1 minute down & dirty set up 38 to 40 watts, more than enought to charge my BLUETTI. ... show more
