We have quite a few new plantings, and it's been hot this summer with little rainfall. This drip irrigation system has been quite helpful in keeping our plants watered. I have a few different types of drip irrigation systems and each one is a bit different. Some attach the emitters to tubing, while these attach the emitters directly to the tees. I tend to prefer attaching the emitters to tubing as it allows greater flexibility with placing the emitters. (With this system, you are limited to two "main lines" and the emitters come directly off each tee. With other systems, you can use tees to have multiple branches coming off the main line.) But, quite simply, this works. Especially nice if you prefer misting over dripping. or a steady stream. ... show more

This is a solid and complete drip watering system. This kit has everything but a timer. It has the connector to attach to an outdoor faucet, a watering timer, or a garden hose. It has a good hose, solid stakes, and easily adjustable sprinkler heads. The only thing I wish was different is how the heads sprinkle water. Instead of a wide spray, it jets water upward. When under plant leaves, this isn't very significant, but when out in the open, wind and warm air can reduce efficiency and control. It isn't significant enough to ding the product a star, but is worth considering. All in all, I can confidently recommend this kit. ... show more

We had a similar system previously installed but wanted to extend it. Couldn't get the original one any more so I found this one that appeared to be similar. Upon reading the directions titled "Dirp Irrigation System," I wasn't so optimistic, but it worked seamlessly with the prior setup. The components do not feel quite as well made as the preexisting setup. All in all it was a successful installation. All of the fittings connected easily, securely and are leak free. It works great with a timer. The most time consuming part is just deciding where you want all the heads and cutting the tubing into appropriate lengths. We've got it mounted to the roof to water hanging plants, but I'm sure it works just as well along the ground. Overall, it could be a little better quality craftsmanship but is a good value and works as it should. ... show more

Very cool irrigation kit. I felt like a young, inspired boy while building a system for almost all the flower containers on my patio. I couldn't use sprinklers in that area for multiple reasons, including that they would wash my front door. It was super simple to set up. I completed the full setup of 120 feet in under an hour with all the measurements and connections. I admire the quick connections—they are easy to connect, simple to disconnect if you need to change them, and they don’t leak. I would appreciate if the kit included more end tips and 2-way splitters to make the setup even easier. Overall, I liked it very much and still feel inspired by this kit and the results I achieved. It's as easy to set up as any other drip/mist irrigation system is. I hooked it into my existing system that has a 1/2" main line which helps provide enough water pressure for longer runs. The price is hard to beat for what you're getting and I really like that it can be set up as an overhead mister or used as a ground based drip system using the included stakes. Would recommend as a stand alone system or an extension of an existing system. ... show more

I do a lot of drip irrigation gardening and this setup gives me some options for my setups. If you're new to drip gardening, perhaps start elsewhere, but for those of you who know what you're doing, just pay attention to what these are misters, not drip. But intentionally used, they will take care of this need. And while not what my intended purpose was, I think these would be great for a porch on a super hot day to keep it cool. ... show more

I have tried irrigation system like this before and based on my experience after installing the last kit and this kit, these typenof kits may be best for potted plants in my case or in my garden with low ground covering plants. I say this because even though the spray head is adjustable, the mist is quite fine and can provide a damp surface rather than saturating the soil, especially during the hot season with fast evaporation. Others may find the misting option helpful to drive up humidity and provide surface moisture on the soil in an enclosed space/greenhouse/small grow tent. But I found it to be pretty useless in open air. An option for this kit would be to use it as a mister system hung up against the house or around a pergola during hot days to cool off (people). ... show more

This kit provides all the items needed to keep my plants watered and healthy. I have a smaller version but needed an upgrade. It is really easy to put together. Once u measured the spacing it is easy to adjust if you calculate the wrong size. Once I set up the connector I didn't experience much leakage.
