The jungle animals 6-pack ( ZL0043-ZL0048-20x30) is a great paint-by-numbers (PXN) kit with six 7.8"W x 11.75"H canvases. There is a 1" white margin all around that can be used to fill the painting to full 8"W x 12"W and/or paint white or black to use for basic box framing. I started with the little owl and did have a little trouble getting enough paint on there to cover the numbers in some spots. To prevent this on the rest of the canvases in the set, I added a layer of CLEAR TEXTURE GESSO. I prefer Liquitex, but there are other brands. After applying a goat of gesso, I had no more issues. The printing on the canvases is clear. No problem seeing the numbers. No issues with the paint, although I always transfer paints to slightly larger pots and add a little CLEAR ACRYLIC MEDIUM to smooth out kit paint and make it go a little farther. Also, the 6-pack kit came in a waterproof cylinder sleeve with the canvases rolled, so no issue with canvas creases. It took me about three weeks to complete, so definitely a time killer. Paint quality was good, the brushes were okay, the only thing I would complain about was the canvas was folded instead of rolled, so there's a big crease down the center.

As is typical for most of the PBN I purchase from Amazon, there was not enough paint. The dark blue colors 1, 15, and 18 ran out with empty spaces to go. I save my leftover paints from other kits and had to dig into my blue drawer for those. However I did enjoy the kit and I liked the finished project (although as another reviewer said, it’s never as good as the listing photo). I have this 4 stars because it was definitely above average in terms of paint quality, difficulty (not too easy, not crazy hard), and finished product I’m happy with. ... show more
