Purchased this Ambison protective case for my 9th Generation (2021) 10.2-inch iPad and received it yesterday, via overnight delivery. Very impressive in the following ways. The Packaging: the pics show the three forms of packaging used. Both plastic bags are of the zip lock variety. The smaller bag contained the case and the bigger bag contained the smaller bag, shoulder strap, and cardboard packaging containing the tempered glass screen protector - which is shrink-wrapped. The one large bag was placed in the Amazon-branded delivery plastic packaging. Certainly a high quality packaging form IMO. The Case: just LOVE the color combo of this case - several other color combos are available. The form factor is very rugged-looking, t in a refined way, yet it screens “safety and security” for the tablet. The case is easy to open along its edges - I was able to undo the “snaps” with just my fingers but it still felt sturdy in its closure. After opening the case, I merely peeled back the silicon/rubber bumper around the outer edge to securely place the iPad in its cradle for its lifetime!😊. The slots in the rubber bumper for the power and volume buttons are “spot on” in terms of alignment. After putting the bumper back on, replacing the cover and snapping it back in place was very easy. Again, although easy to open/close, I am confident the case is securely enveloping the iPad. The case has a hand strap in the back that is adjustable to adult or children hands with its velcro design. The hand strap sits on a 360-degree rotating disk with a built-in stand for portrait or landscape positioning. The stand locks in place and the release button is easily accessible and is simple to deploy. The case’s cut-outs for the cameras and Touch ID button are engineered for a perfect alignment to the tablet. The attached picture shows off the aesthetic look and appeal of the case. The Screen Protector: talk about simple to apply, this item is it! You prep the screen as is the case with all other protectors. This protector being tempered glass, it is heavy duty, scratch resistant, and the clarity is crystal clear. It comes with a dust-removing sticky decal and includes two other decals to place on the protector to facilitate its proper alignment and placement over the screen. Once on, just let it’s form factor do it’s thing - I watched in amazement how the protector clung itself to the screen. I had to lift it up in one corner because I didn’t pick up lint or something but once I did, it went back on on its own. The only flaw is the bottom corner didn’t stick back on - as shown in the picture and this was due to my use of a box cutter blade to lift the corner up and I must have bent it up some. But no big deal because as you can tell from the picture of the assembled case, the case covers that part of the tablet’s screen. Other: the case comes with an adjustable strap. I do not believe I will ever use or need the strap. However, I have seen people carrying a tablet using a similar strap feature. Also, Ambison offers 3-months of customer service support should an issue arise. All-in-all, I am very pleased with the case and look forward to it protecting my iPad! ... show more

This product looks even better in person. The case is actually very hard so it gives almost 100% protection and it even comes with a good quality tempered glass to protect from scratches/cracks on the screen. I did not know about the shoulder strap that comes with it or the hand strap but both of these provide great options of how to carry/hold the iPad. If I or my daughter should ever happen to accidentally break my case in any way, shape, or form; I will be buying this product again. It's the only case that I ever want to use for my iPad ever again! ... show more

I have had dozens of covers for my various IPads over the last 12 years. From OtterBox to survivor. This is absolutely the thickest most cushioned Cover I have ever had or seen. I do not think there is no possible way my new IPad could break. Had the feature that I most use in the kickstand. Because I watch a lot of videos and movies all day. Training videos during the day, movies or tv shows at lunch and in the evenings. Also has a adjustable strap so you can hold and use with 1 hand. I will never use this feature. Also comes with a shoulder strap as well. I will never use this feature either. Because I carry my backpack with me: But it is nice to still have options. Also comes with a tempered glass screen cover. The case is so cushioned that when I took my new iPad to my truck to put in my holder. It would not clamp around the iPad. But with the adjustable hand strap I slid it over the bar of my iPad holder I adjusted it to hold tight. I use in the car for a better Bigger GPS. This cover in my book gets a 10 out of 10 rating. After 6 months of use. I am revising my rating. The reason being is my Kickstand broke. Not physically broke. Stand still comes out but as soon as you let go your iPad drops flat on the table. This broke after just 70 days of use. Very disappointed now. Because the stand is the reason I buy any case. My previous IPads the kickstand lasted 5 years. Until I gave it to my toddler daughter. She broke it within a month. I have been looking to contact this company about a warranty replacement. But I haven’t found the information to do so. I will just buy another cover. By the time I purchase a 2nd cover both would have cost the same as 1 Otter Box. I have never broken a Otter Box. If you happen to break one there would be no problem getting in touch with them to get a lifetime replacement. I changed my rating from a 5 star to 2.5 stars because the stand lasted 70 days ... show more

This is a great case and has proved itself on the durability front. EXCEPT for the kickstand. It broke after two years. I can’t find a way to only replace the kickstand.

Very pleased with this item. Screen protector was easy to put on with no air bubbles and works great with my apple pencil. Ipad case attaches with no difficulty and provides multiple ways of holding it.

I was worried this was going to be another poorly made case but man am I surprised. I got the blue and green variants for my kids. But honestly, there’s nothing childish about the case. They’re very well made and good looking. I could totally see a professional using these cases as well as kids. I will say the kickstand is tricky to use but once you figure it out it’s solid.
