I've been running 1/2" drip irrigation lines throughout my property. I have used the compression fittings typically sold at the big box hardware stores. Irrationally, there are two different sizes 1/2" drip irrigation lines, one sold at one major retailer and the other at the other major retailer. The hoselines and compression fittings are not interchangeable. Its a pain in the butt. These work much better. The connections have worked on all the lines I've connected to so far. I am sticking with these and ditching the compression fittings. Favorite features are that they are easy to connect, hold the hoseline very well, do not leak, and they are easily reusable if you carefully cut them out of the irrigation tubing. There's really not much more to write about them other than they have worked well so far. I didn't rate them 5 stars because there is a better price out there. ... show more

All of the fittings worked with the 1/2" irrigation line I bought. The fit was snug but it wasn't hard to install the fittings. So far there are no leaks after about 2 months of use.
