I liked the old school look of this stereo. Although it's not as solid as they use to make them. For the price it looks great.It plays well. I think I might buy some better stylus for it though. I purchased this record player to play all the various formats of music I listen to (records, cassettes, CD, Bluetooth, FM radio, ) and I am extremely satisfied. It has RCA jacks in the rear to add your own external speakers, but I prefer to use the built-in speaker for that classic record player sound. It also has a headphone jack and Aux jack in the front of the unit. One of my children is jealous of my Victrola Empire Mid-Century 6-in-1 Turntable with 3 Speed Record Player, stating it was "way better" than the simple record player he bought at Walmart. ... show more

The Victrola VTA-270B-FNT Empire Bluetooth 6 In 1 Music Center (33/45/78) (Farmhouse Walnut) is a nice piece for the price. After listening to Bose products for years, the speakers are not "fantastic" like a Bose or super loud, but this piece is well worth the price. I wanted a retro farm house unit for our living room so my husband and I could enjoy it on occasion. I love it has not only a record player, but FM, CD, cassette and blue tooth. To the person who made the smart comment on my question I wrote yesterday, I'm not that dumb, but maybe you should think before you comment. Many Victrola items, similar to this with a record player, come with a remote. The reason I asked is this does not have one, and for the CD/Blue Tooth, it would be nice to have one. I am fully aware it won't work with a record, etc. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it. I also love this is a Victrola brand. It's super nice to have a modern piece with a long standing production run like Victrola. I'm giving a 4 star for the speaker quality and no remote. ... show more

Pros: retro vibes, analog switches, looks cool, fun to use Cons: its really big! Check the measurements. It would be great if it came with a remote. There are other models that do and would be a nice to have. Speakers are not great but there are jacks to add some. P.S. the people who posted that their records skip probably didnt follow the instructions to tighten down the turntable. ... show more
