... and that's it. I docked my Steam Deck to it yesterday. It seemed to charge my Deck - the light came on at the top - and it sent the picture via HDMI to the monitor. Test complete so I said "Great" and shut it off. An hour later I finished what I was doing so decided to play a little bit. Turned on the Deck. No picture on the monitor. The Deck was displaying on its own screen. Also it had not charged at all though the light was still on. I did everything from reboot the Deck to disconnect the dock for an hour then reconnect everything. No dice. I am using an Anker USB-C 65W charger so no issues with power. The dock is just no good. Don't try and save money by buying a 3rd party. Just do what I should have done and buy an authentic dock. ... show more

If you have a Steam Deck and want to add some ports to it, this will be the solution. It will hold the Steam Deck at a good angle and provides and HDMI, Ethernet and several USB ports. I have confirmed that they all work except the Ethernet port, I just haven't tried the Ethernet yet. Using this will allow for longer gaming sessions while hooked up to an external display. I'm pretty sure it can be used with a laptop that needs more input ports. I get regular usage out of this and would recommend to anyone needing a docking station. ... show more

This docking station works perfectly well for my recently purchased ASUS ROG Ally. I wanted to be able to use the Ally on my 1080p TV and for that purpose, it has done an exceptional job. The 100W pass through for charging is accurate - which was a very important item for me when I was searching for a dock. The Ally is finicky with what types of charges it will "accept" and run on Turbo 30w mode on, i.e., some chargers will not be recognized therefore limiting the 30w to a lower setting such as 15w (even though the charger is fully capable of supplying enough wattage for the device to hit the highest Turbo 30w mode). If you have a charger that will give you the 30W (like the charger that comes with the Ally itself), you do not have to worry about this dock causing any issues - the Ally will recognize the dock and allow you to use the device at the full 30W turbo mode. With this dock, I am now able to use the charger at its max potential, plug in a USB dongle for a wireless keyboard and mouse, and hook up the Ally to my TV via the HDMI cable. It's absolutely perfect for converting the Ally to a "PC" now and I use it frequently in my living room when I don't want to use the device in handheld mode. Truly an excellent product here with good build quality and high versatility with its 6 in 1 options. Cannot recommend this one enough if you are an Ally owner and want to get more out of your device. ... show more

DOES NOT CHARGE AT FULL CAPACITY! Your deck will inevitably die because the dock can't pass the official charger's charging rate. The dock is basically useless for long term play. Such a crap product.
