I recently used this galvanized cattle fence and it’s been fantastic for our farm. It's quite sturdy for the small frame, and I like the fact that it has galvanized coating, which hopefully will provide excellent resistance to rust and wear.     • Decent field fence!
I like this fence, first one I got with a red top, which is more visible than normal. It hasn't seemed to put off the sheep from trying to find a way to escape (Houdini sheep, lol). It holds up good regarding sheep, but I don't know if I would trust this fence with cattle - it is sturdy, but not heavy duty. The field fence I got from the farm store is more heavy duty. However, this fencing works good for sheep, as well as a trained donkey (he's not trying to escape though). If you need a shorter section of fence (not 330ft like usual) this is a good solution and works well. I wouldn't recommend this for cattle though. ... show more

    • Not strong enough to contain my goats
Sadly, this fence didnt work for my goats. The metal itself was way too fine and after just a few weeks, not only have they managed to climb over it multiple times by simply stepping on the open lines, but they have now somehow got some them to actually snap, the top line especially, so the lines have already been broken through. We struggled to get it pulled tight when installing it so Im sure there was some sag, which in turn, lead to them simply breaking through so Ill be re-fencing that section today since I now have it covered with a cattle panel as its the only way to keep my goats from climbing right over it. This may be better for nigerians who are shorter, but my nigerian/nubian mixes are just too big for it! The squares themselves were also too big, in my opinion, as my goats can get their heads though, and with horned goats, that not going to work out so well! ... show more

    • Good quality fencing, tightly rolled.
This is a really nice, heavy gauge quality roll of fencing. Perfectly acceptable for goat enclosure or pasture or something similar. I used it around a garden to keep larger critters out of my raised beds. The only issue I had was unrolling it because it is so tightly rolled up to ship it in a box, it was super hard to unroll the last few feet and to get it flattened out.     • Little soft and to short for cows. Great fencing for chickens.
If you have animal that does not push on the fence then you'll be ok. Other wise for chickens it works great! I like it better then chicken wire. Chicken wire is to soft and this fencing makes a better alternative.

I got this to use next year as trellis for my green beans and cucumbers. For that purpose it is going to be great. It seems to be some perfectly fine and properly built fencing. It's spacing is very similar to hog wire panels. It's just of a lighter gauge and twisted instead of welded like hog wire, and it's not as expensive as hog wire. For it's gauge this is still some pretty sturdy fencing. I do like the added touch of having the red marker wire at the top. I really don't know what more can be said about it. It's just simply some good quality fencing. I'm plenty happy with it and see no reason not to recommend it. ... show more

    • Used for a mini horse pasture
I needed to patch up an area of weaker fence in my field, and this works well. The gauge is smaller but still strong and the top red warning wire coating is nice. Keeps the mini horses in pasture and they don't bend it too badly when leaning over.. might be a problem for cattle or bigger horses
