Best strippers outside of the one's swinging from poles 😆

Okay, so these strippers would be perfect except that they're not lol. The first pair I got from amazon worked great but one of the handles was tweaked so I sent them back. The next pair had nice handles but the strippers/cutter grinded against themselves BADLY when you squeezed the handle closed. So I said "alright, fine, I'll order them directly from Wiha". The pair they sent me grinded too!...albeit not as badly as the second pair from amazon. I figured I'd give them one last shot and the second pair that Wiha sent me SEEMED great: the handles were straight, they opened and closed smoothly, they stripped well BUT the cutter portion snagged stranded wiring! If you cut through stranded wiring with the shielding on it would cut cleanly or maybe miss a wire or two, but if you stripped the wire and then tried to cut the actual strands it would miss like 10 strands, then when you cut the 10 strands it would still leave like 5! I have numerous Wiha tools and they are very good quality, in fact Wiha makes some of my favorite tools that I own AND to Wiha's credit they told me to just keep this fourth and final pair and that they would refund me my money (so I got the strippers for free). In short I recommend Wiha products and they are a good/reputable company but stay away from these strippers. ... show more

    • Good but overpriced.
Wiha is my favorite brand of screwdriver and insulated pliers, but these wire strippers don't give me that quality feeling of other wiha products habe. This is a "good" product but for the price I would go with Klein. Sorry Wiha try again.

    • Get the 18 dollar Kliens at HD instead!!!
Honestly, I can't believe Wiha makes these! They are comfortable to hold and strip wire with, but the cutters won't cut all of the strands of 14awg SIS wire! (Once the insulation has been removed) This is par for the cheapest cutters HD and Lowes pukes out, but for Wiha???? I'm returning the set I bought, I'm not buying Wiha cutters/strippers again. ... show more

broke after a week. Screw in the middle of the cutters completely fell apart. not worth 26 dollars
