    • Great for sugar glider
Perfect cage for our sugar glider. It was pretty easy to put together. There were a couple of *slightly* bent pieces, but nothing we couldn’t straighten out. I did use a zip tie to keep the bottom grate in place (it can slide out). I also wish there was a way to lock the cage onto the top of the “cart”. It just sits on top... so be careful when rolling it around. If you forget and push the cage itself... you’ll either tip it over or push the cage off of the bottom cart. Seems like it wouldn’t be all that difficult to engineer a pull-pin type system or something similar to allow the option of locking it on top of the cart and still have the option to remove it from the cart. Overall it’s a nice looking and fairly sturdy cage for the price. Works perfectly for our sugar glider. ... show more

    • Good sized cage
Pros: Good sized cage, lighter weight then my old wrought iron cage that was same size and design, coated with safe paint and easy to clean, comes with plenty of food and water dishes, also plenty of perches, lots of doors all over the cage for easier access, and decent front door latch that locks, good wheels that roll smoothly, easy assembly and affordability. Cons: Not as sturdy as my last wrought iron, some sharp edges on the shelves inside (be careful you may get poked or scratched), for such a big cage you get several small perches (small in length and diameter) (sized for small birds, ex: finches, canary, parakeet, diamond dove, etc), but your bird may need bigger perches, the spring to the door latch is not so good - its not straight, flimsy and can make it difficult at times to open or close, also all the other doors are easily opened by birds or rodents due to being so light and no latch. Recommendations: I would recommend this cage for people who have smaller birds, possibly small rodents who cant lift the doors, like having several doors for easier access, want a lighter cage, safe coated for pets and comes with perches and dishes, want or need easy assembly and affordability. Not a bad cage nor deal for $120 these days. Rating: 3 stars - Good. ... show more

This cage is beautifully made. I found it a breeze to assemble by myself in about 30 leisurely minutes. The directions aren’t the clearest but if you just stop and think about it, it was common sense. I love the large door and smaller doors for easy access to the girls. Quick delivery. Easy to assemble. I'm a 72-year-old woman and I did it myself, with a little supervision from my husband. Based on the reasonable price I was surprised at how well made it is, even the screws were nice and there were extras. The wheels are also nicely made and screw in. You can move it around easily, but be aware that the cage just sits on the stand and is not fastened, so you can't push it around by the cage part or it will topple over. I am using this for a baby squirrel I am rehabbing. The cage is very sturdy. The bars are close enough that "Wally" has no chance of getting out. The door latches securely. I didn't want him to have to walk on the wire flooring, so I reversed the wire bottom and the pan, and that works out nicely. I can cover the bottom and the two upper wire shelves with newspaper and he can navigate it easily and it is easy to clean. He can also climb up the wire ladders, although I placed a number of tree limbs in the cage and he prefers them. He loves his cage. He comes out for a feeding and a cuddle and then reaches towards his cage, wanting back in. He has an enclosed "cubby" to get in if a sudden noise or movement frightens him, but otherwise he races all around this lovely habitat. ... show more

The box was destroyed when arrived, one of the cage sides was bent, the wooden sticks got wet somehow. Also need to zip tie pretty much anything that moves if you have a small or smart animal like a rat. Would have probably been easier and cheaper to get one from the store honestly :(
