The product itself is great, love having the battery read out as my camper does not have a battery indicator anywhere. The battery leads themselves are a nice heavy gauge wire, however they are very short so plan on mounting this near the batteries or plan on making longer leads.

A very small ac it will not power without underpowered warning 830 watts 115 volt portable ac it's hooked up to two d4 210 amp hr batteries also a 230 amp alternator and only runs about 30 minutes iv tried running fans on it and no change you get what you pay for

Thermal design is key in a system like this. I selected 500W although I only needed 300 top to make sure temp inside remain low. In early June it was already 105 outside here in Houston TX... I can hear the fan working a few seconds every 10mn or so. Unit looks solid and I like the displays. I use it to power my telescopes at night from batteries charged by solar cells during the day.
