These under pads are pretty good. They are pretty absorbent and the fact that they are larger than a lot of other under pads and are square. However, they are sort of flimsy and if much pressures is applied (as in pulling them from under a patient, they are prone to tear, even if they are not wet. This is my fourth box of pads, and I love them. I have a senior dog with cancer who thinks the living room carpeting is the place to go to the bathroom. My dog at 13 years, has started going in the house. These pads are placed on top of a large washable pee pad to absorb urine. It is convenient to place pad on urine on floor if she misses the pad and collect the liquid quickly. They could be thicker, but they do what they are supposed to do. I place them cotton side up on top of the cloth pad. And place them cotton side down on wet spots, and stand on them to absorb urine. I then use a hoover portable shampooer to suck up the urine mistake. My poor dog. It's hard to watch her with this problem and I know it is not her fault. ... show more
