I used this blanket in a guest room. The blanket stopped working in about 8 months with limited use. I contacted the company twice and troubleshot using the website info. Nothing worked and the company ignored me. Do not purchase! They stop working, read other reviews, and the warranty the company mentions only works if they respond, which they don’t. I bought other blankets from other companies with no issues, this blanket is no good from a company that doesn’t really offer a warranty! ... show more

EDIT: After using it for a while now, I'm updating my review. I was originally disappointed with the level of warmth. Adding a flannel sheet on top has solved that, and it gets plenty warm now that the heat is trapped a bit. I hadn't wanted to to that, because the plaid is so darn cute. I wanted to use this blanket either alone, or on top of a flannel sheet. I have a heated throw from Costco on the couch, and had been moving it to the bed on top of my other bedding for the night, but that was getting old, and its only a small throw, so I got this full size, thinking it would work the same. It does not (for me) warm enough to use alone or on top of bedding. BUT, in the end, it does warm sufficiently with an added layer on top, the timer feature is great, and the plaid is super cute. It is thin, but soft, and the heating wires are not noticable. Would I buy again? Maybe. If I hadn't wanted it to be the top layer, to see that cute plaid, probably yes. Esp considering other brands can be much more expensive. ORIGINAL REVIEW: With heating oil prices through the roof, I wanted to turn down the thermostat. I turn it on about an hour before going to bed, and its at least not freezing when I get in. Cranked up to high, its warmish. I do like being able to choose the length of time its on, but I wish it were warmer. Also it seems only the middle wires get warm. I almost sent it back but going to give it a few more nights first. ... show more

This is our 3rd one. The first one lasted about a year,bought another one and it didn’t last 2weeks. 3rd one lasted a couple months. Can not return, goes to a error 404 on their site.

Too well for me because I got hot using it on low. It was pretty and soft and beautiful. Not too expensive if you need it about normal for electric blanket prices. I loved it and would recommend it. It was just wrong for me. I really wanted to keep it but of no use if it can’t be used because too hot for me! And I wish a company would make one without automatic shutoff. Where you can turn it on and off simply yourself. This would turn off at the shortest I think in a 1/2 hour but might have been an hour. Honestly don’t remember now. But it got too hot after 15 minutes for me and kept my bed warm with blanket or comforter over this electric blanket after that time. And you are supposed to put blanket or comforter over electric blankets so the heat stays in and under the covers to keep you warm. And it did after 15 minutes on it would keep my bed warm until morning. TOO WARM! But the company was very good about my return and refunding my purchase price.
