This wire shelf is reasonably good for the price. I wanted one for a small space next to my furnace, under the ductwork. Unlike the 24 and 30 inch wide units I've been buying, this one oddly has the shelves upside-down with the rim upward. That's okay, although that makes it more difficult to slide boxes or bins into place. Then each leg is comprised of four tubes that slide into each other without screwing together, so they could come apart when lifting the whole assembly. No problem, I won't be moving it in the future. A simple solution would be to dab any kind of glue in the joints so they don't slide apart, but I really don't feel the need. This unit assembles like so many others with plastic 2-piece clips for the tapered holes on the shelves to fit down over. When the clips don't snap completely together I just slide them up or down until they pop into the grooves in the legs. They all easily stayed in place while I slid the shelves over them. Then I lightly drove each shelf down with my hands to lock them into place. It seems like wire shelving is somewhat overpriced these days, but it is what it is. Great option for storage of smaller items when floor space is at a premium. The metal quality seems good, no rust right out of the box and the unit is stable, even during assembly. Simple to construct in just a few minutes. My only complaint is a lack of configuration options. You can adjust the shelf heights easily, but I wanted 3 shelves connected to 2 shelves side by side rather than a singular tall unit. I was able to build feet for the 5th and 6th legs but the top ends look weird. I built it for other than its intended use as a single shelving unit so that's on me, but 2 additional feet and a couple of plastic covers for the tops of the exposed leg pieces would have been great and offered more creative configurations or spare parts with minimal expense. I do recommend the unit for those wishing to assemble it as intended. ... show more

I am the only person that puts anything together in my house. This is the WORST project I have ever purchased. 35 min in and it is IMPOSSIBLE. the clips do not “click”. The poles bend immediately. Do NOT buy this!!!!!!!!
