This game is great! My very active 6 and 8 year old boys simply love this game. It's silly, fast paced, and keeps their attention. We have a lot of difficulty with board games because both boys don't like sitting that long. This game is easy and quick. Sometimes we just get the cards out and all try to find answers to the questions, together. One boy does the timer and one reads the cards. My 6 year old can read almost all the cards. One of the favorites is, "Name 3 things that parents say...". It's a lot of fun to see what they come up with. The timer is very fun as well! Not just a sand timer, but it makes a honking sound when you push the end and it has little 1mm marbles that spiral down the inside grooves when you flip it over. It takes 5 seconds for all the marbles to get to the end. It's visually and audibly identifiable. The game is 5 second rule, but for the younger players I either give them 10 seconds or they only need to get 2 things (instead of 3). I saw mention of taking this on a car ride and I think this would be perfect for that. This game is a winner at our house. If you have young children that can read and have short attention spans, this game is a WINNER!! Well worth every penny spent! ... show more

Super fun game to get the kids thinking. Sometimes we do not even take the board game part of it out and just use the timer and ask each other questions from the cards. Plenty of fun to be had with this game.

We are a board game family -- a gaming family, in fact...just more "old-school', and we like it that way. Above all, there's not one of us who hasn't grown up with Disney entertainment. So this game was purchased to play on a family trip. Most of us are certainly over 5-10 years old; in fact, many of us are over 40, 50 and even 60! This game will be fun, but with only 150 cards, it will be easy to memorize the categories if not the "pat answers". So once we've been through it one time, it will probably have to be passed on to someone. Other than that, it's packaged well, and the only thing irritating about it is the hourglass thingy that makes an irritating noise...but we can always remove the battery. ... show more

This is a fun twist on the 5 second rule game. We've enjoyed the regular version for many years and when we learned there was a Disney version, we wanted to check it out. It's harder than it sounds, but it added a fun twist to the regular game. This one comes with a game board rather than collecting cards, which also adds a new level, but is a lot of fun for fans of Disney! ... show more

I bought this to use with my speech therapy students and they have a blast playing it! First, they LOVE the timer because it has little balls that spiral down (great visual) AND makes a kooky noise when turned over/started. They also love that they can track their progress on the game board. I love that they can work on vocabulary skills, word recall, language processing, turn-taking…so many things! This would be a great addition to your game night arsenal if you’ve got younger kids! ... show more

On the plus side there is a huge variety of subjects on sturdy cards the you could play with for a long time and never repeat a topic. The timer thing works great and even the younger ones could work it well without any way to cheat with it. We didn't pay close enough attention to how it was boxed up and none of us could figure out how the wand would go back in the box which is frustrating to have an extra part you can't put back in the box for storage. The problem was, that it is not a family game unless you have very mature children with a sense of fair play. Our experience quickly disintegrated into " you could have cheesecake flavored chips if you wanted to" type comments. I still would have kept it to play with adults only but the packaging was too frustrating so I returned it. ... show more
