My dog has sensitive skin and itches a lot if we're not careful. We've discovered he is very sensitive to sulfates (which most shampoos have, both human and animal shampoos), We tried this because it is sulfate free and helps control itching. My beloved dog is clean and soft, and most importantly, this shampoo does not bother his sensitive skin and he's itching much, much less than if we bathed him with shampoo containing sulfates. This is much better than the Burt Bees shampoo that I got for my dog. It lathers well and has a pleasant but not overpowering smell. My dog is a short hair dog and his fur is nice and shiny after a bath. He also has somewhat of a sensitive skin (why we used Burt Bees) but has no issue with this one. Highly recommend. ... show more

Smells great and leaves my dogs coat smooth and doesn’t irritate his skin. He’s a hypoallergenic dog so we have to use specific shampoos for him and this works pretty well. His skin isn’t irritated at all when we use this.
