The good things are that it seems very solid, it looks great, all the holes lined up and was super easy to put together with great instructions and easily marked pieces. The only bad thing really was that it had a couple of banged up corners but not really anything worth crying over. Which was weird because it seemed packed really well and had foam between every piece of wood. It was a little heavier then I was hoping for (44 lbs) but that’s my bad for getting a setup with wood. Plus like I said, it’s sturdy and you wouldn’t want a light, flimsy wood shelf. Anyway yea, I’d totally buy this again. ... show more

Very satisfied with the sturdiness and build. The bottom level allows me to place larger items without worrying about my roomba running into them, and helps make everything look "neat". The cabinet is nice and perfectly sized for storing some root tabs, my long tweezers and plant trim scissors, a water test kit, a water treatment bottle, etc. The top is only a little larger than my 10 gal tank, which is exactly what I wanted. It sits nicely and looks like it belongs there. It is a bit annoying to adjust the cabinet doors to be even, and there's a gap between them that's larger than I was expecting, but that's ok. There were no instructions on adjusting the doors, but you can use the screws on the hinges to do so. There doesn't seem to be any way to adjust tension, however, and in my opinion, the tension is too high. On the upside, the hinges are quiet-shut, which is nice. ... show more

I purchased this stand because I wanted a spot for my existing 10 gallon and to also put a five gallon tank on the bottom. I bought the gray. I really like the color. It went together fairly easy. The cabinet isn't quite as big as I thought it would be but big enough to put the air pump, extra filters and food in it so it still works. All and all it's a nice sturdy stand. ... show more

Purchased to hold my 20 gallon aquarium but was a bit concerned about the "pressboard" material and how spilled water may ruin the finish of the stand. The assembly was tricky as I assembled it by myself, took me a couple of hours. I found the material to be heavy and sturdy with the metal frame supports in the areas where needed. I like the fact that the cabinet doors, with a nudge, slowly close by themselves. Once assembled, I found the stand up to the task. The pressboard surfaces are waterproofed and spills and drips easily wipe off with no affect on the faux wood. The cabinets easly hold my net, chemicals and various other fish supplies. I expect, with a degree of care on my part, that this stand will last me for many years. ... show more

Arrived later than expected. Box is very heavy and bulky. All items in box were delivered in good condition. Easy instructions and mounting time was a bit longer than expected, approximately one hour. Easy to assemble alone. Tank is secured, steady and looks good.
