The media could not be loaded. Before I had this dehumidifier I had one from the same brand but for 2,500 sqft. It was small and efficient, but had a 2L tank which meant I was emptying it every 5h. I upgraded to the 5,500sqft one and am so happy I did. The tank is so much larger and has a handle for easy emptying. I can program this one easily, meaning it turns off when target humidity is reached. Now I only empty the tank once a day! It quickly is able to drop the humidity of my whole apartment in just a few hours, with a hugely noticeable difference. Only downside is that it is a bit noisier than the smaller one I had, but not loud enough where you can’t watch tv in the same room. ... show more

    • Fairly quiet and works pretty well.
It doesn't remove moisture as quickly as my other 2 dehumidifiers, but it's quieter and doesn't leak water. I'll purchase another when one of them dies on me. We live right on the water and use it downstairs below the main part house where we don't run the AC down there as much.

I love this machine, it works so well. I tried a couple others but I live in the attic with three areas, and I needed something more powerful. Even with a couple conditioners, the humidity was out of control. And adding this to the mix really helped allow the air conditioners to work better. The tank is big so I only have to empty it once a day, or twice on a very humid day and I appreciate that there's a handle on it. I think it has some tubes for an automatic drain, but I don't have that capability so using the tank is fine. I have tried others that are just too small and not strong enough, and this gets the job done. It really cools down my third floor, I even have it in the other room and my bedroom stays cooler. After a very hot and humid summer, I was so grateful to finally find this, and to discover how much humidity I actually had in the Attic. Even now that it's cooler I'm probably still going to use it to take the stuffiness out. I think that's better for my health as well. And I love that it automatically shuts off with some beeping, so I know when to empty it, and you can regulate it just by the level that you like, and it goes off and on top stay at that level. The dehumidifier was very easy to use. Controls are straightforward and the large digital display of current humidity makes seeing the level with a glance and not having to go over to the machine. Very easy to empty the bin of water (comes with a retractable handle) and reset the bin in place. The unit automatically recognizes the bin is back and restarts in a few seconds. We had, due to some issues this year with our HVAC, been experiencing high humidity levels. The unit removed gallons of water from the air over the first 10 days or so and now helps to maintain a more consistent and healthy level of humidity in the house. This was important as high humidity levels (above 80%) can lead to mold in the walls over time. However, even at the low speed, the unit has been highly effective and efficient in removing moisture and maintaining the humidity in the low 50’s% level. A great value for the money. ... show more

Does a good job taking moisture out of the air. Have it my basement. Don’t use it in the winter. I will be starting up soon with the warmer weather coming. I have it hooked to the hose and drain the water down the sewer. Like to run it on the timer.

    • Don’t waste your money on this one!!
This dehumidifier worked well for 4 months. The unit still “appears” to function, however it no longer extracts moisture from the air. I have tried every troubleshooting step as outlined in the owner’s manual, and all suggestions I found online. Requests for resolution from the mfg remain unanswered. The unit is supposed to have a one year warranty, so far the mfg has not backed their product. Update: 3-28-2025 Finally received a response from (not certain if it is a bot or actual person). Was provided troubleshooting tips that I had already attempted several times. Dehumidifier still not functioning properly. Have requested repair/replacement/or refund. Unit is supposed to have a one year warranty, extended to three years because I registered my purchase with Veagaso. Very disappointed, will not spend another penny on anything associated with this company. ... show more

This is the best dehumidifier I have ever used. It is well made and easy to use. I like the large water collection container which allows the units to run all night without having to empty it frequently. I would highly recommend this dehumidifier to anyone looking for one.
