I purchased a 2000 Sportster 883C which had the original shocks. I wanted to adjust the preload to see if they would last the season or not. I did not have a shock wrench and chose these based on price, look, and number of available sizes. I am set for adjusting shocks for life. They performed well and were comfortable to use.
