I purchased this ahead of my hysterectomy & I am so glad I did! I am 3 days post-op, & this wedge is the only reason I've been able to get any sleep. It is soft & supportive. It easily adjusts from a comfortable upright position to a laying down position but doesn't slip on its own. I was a bit reluctant to spend this amount of money on something I hope I will only have to use temporarily & it is quite bulky (I have no idea where I'm going to store it when I'm not using it anymore) but it's already been worth every penny. These are perfect for everyday to relax, or even after surgery when you can’t sleep flat on your back, side, or stomach. They are even perfect when you have to sleep on the couch or the bed. I have to sleep on the couch since I live alone. I recently had a double mastectomy with flap surgery. So I’m not allowed to sleep flat on my back, sides, and stomach. So with these pillows they help me out a lot when I sleep in the couch. They allow me to be more independent to get up, and down from the couch all by myself without help. And they are firm enough, and comfortable enough for everyday. I’ve been having to use them daily, even to go to sleep. I’m not 100% capable to be independent as of yet. But I’m getting there daily. But if it wasn’t for these pillows I don’t know what I would do. I highly recommend these pillows. And I would recommend them to anyone, and everyone. ... show more

I purchased these pillows to help with sleeping after a shoulder surgery. Within minutes after opening they expand to the shape and firmness that they stay at forever. Their shape is great and I love all of the different positioning combinations that can be used. The fabric used as the cover is also quite soft and comfortable. Unfortunately, the firmness and support of the pillows is very poor quality. The $90+ pillows feel like they're made with about $13 of cheap foam. I found it provides very little support. I used the product for about a week with aid from other couch pillows for additional support, but ultimately ditched it all and found stacking regular pillows was more comfortable. I thought at this price point I would receive a quality product, but I would recommend looking in the $200 range if this is representative of the ~$100 price point. ... show more

This set offers great size and shape options and it works well for a short period of time. But overall the set feels hard to lay on over time. Post major surgery I needed to be comfortable for awhile, but after 30 minutes or so I would begin to ache from how hard the pieces were. I had to work with it a little and put pillows on top of it to cushion it more. The knee cushions prop well.
