This is the second set of these glass food storage containers that I have bought because I can truly use four of them in my kitchen. I think they actually save me money because I often use them to store leafy green vegetables, such as kale and spring mix. Both keep fresh longer, compared to storing in a plastic bad or plastic container. I like that the top is clear, so if I see condensation during storage, I blot it dry. I do not put the lids in the microwave or in the dishwasher. This is probably why my first set still seal securely after over a year of frequent use. ... show more

    • They are the exact size, shape and glass I wanted.
I use these often because I cook larger amounts of almost everything I eat. Therefore I save what I can in the refrigerator or even the freezer until needed.

    • Only after 1 month lids bolt stay shut
What a huge disappointment that now cannot be returned. The lids even handwashing them and not putting them in the dishwasher will now not stay shut. I do not recommend buying these.

These worked great for making freezer meals when I was pregnant. I love that they can go in the freezer and the oven. They are large in size and hold quite a bit of food. The lids snap on well.
