These work well for me. They are what I needed. Nice size. Great from freezer to microwave even though I put them in the refrigerator overnight due to their size if completely frozen could take time to defrost. I have read that some have trouble getting the lids to snap closed and they are right. I seem to be able to close the two end tabs with no trouble but the two side tabs like to give you a run for your money but they do eventually close. I use them a lot with only two tabs closed and the seal seems to be tight. Was going to remove a star because of the tabs, but I didn't because I can get all four to close if needed. ... show more

This is the second set of these glass food storage containers that I have bought because I can truly use four of them in my kitchen. I think they actually save me money because I often use them to store leafy green vegetables, such as kale and spring mix. Both keep fresh longer, compared to storing in a plastic bad or plastic container. I like that the top is clear, so if I see condensation during storage, I blot it dry. I do not put the lids in the microwave or in the dishwasher. This is probably why my first set still seal securely after over a year of frequent use. ... show more

We bought a set of glass containers that I love but the largest was 35 oz. and we really needed some bigger ones. These are sturdy and huge and work great to store leftover soups, stews, etc. The lids don't have the same hinge as the smaller containers I have and the plastic is directly connected to the locking mechanism, making the large lids more flimsy. I got these and washed them. I put some cut up meat in one of them, and I tried to put lid on and one of the lids was missing the plastic part that seals it, so I grabbed the other lid and it didn't shut at all.. kept popping open and there was barely anything in it. I tried putting the lid on the he other glass tuberware and that didn't close either. Bummer I washed them and put food in one that I couldn't return it. ... show more
