We bought a set of glass containers that I love but the largest was 35 oz. and we really needed some bigger ones. These are sturdy and huge and work great to store leftover soups, stews, etc. The lids don't have the same hinge as the smaller containers I have and the plastic is directly connected to the locking mechanism, making the large lids more flimsy. These containers are excellent. Because they are glass, they are better for your long term health than their plastic counterparts. They are so air-tight that leftovers or other food stays fresh in the fridge considerably than in other storage containers.
