Yes they work at night. However, the distance is very disappointing. I have a cheap pair that give me double the distance. I have a field where deer & wildlife frequent. These are only good for it's night vision capabilities. Though the infrared light is always on in the front & the display on back is bright, so don't expect not to be visible when using these at night. You will be spotted while using them. ... show more

I have had these binoculars for about 2-3 weeks. They were purchased because we do a lot of bird watching and wanted to get pictures. We decided to invest in these binoculars. They are really good, well made, very sturdy and come in a great hardy case. I attached some pictures that I got from these binoculars, they are incredible. I have not gotten video yet, but I'm sure I will not be disappointed. I have tried them at night and they are awesome also. No pictures yet, but I am sure I will not be disappointed. The only con is the screen is small but I am getting used to that. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. The media could not be loaded. This has been fun to watch the deer, raccoons, and ducks in our area. The duck in my video is only about 40 feet away. The video of the deer over 300 ft away was clear but to large of a file to add here but looks great on the computer. This set is handheld but can get a more stable view using a tripod. The video files are universal avi format. The still images are clear keeping in mind night vision is not daylight color. The manual focus is smooth and easy to use. The zoom goes quite far. Play with the settings to dim the exposure so it is not too bright to watch. ... show more

Have only had these a short time so hopefully they continue to please. Nice quality night time image. used them while on surveillance and was able to see a lot more with them than without.
