I love kickboxing and always just use online videos, but thought it might be fun to try the "real" thing with a punching bag. I was really surprised at everything you get for the price in this set. Bag, gloves, supports to hang the bag, reflex balls, jump rope, wrist bands etc. I was a little surprised at how small the box was until I realized you have to actually fill the bag yourself. I guess that's a duh moment for me, so just plan on needing to stuff it or fill it with something. The gloves fit me well and work just fine for me. The punching bag also works fine for me. I'm no Mike Tyson, so the bag isn't taking a professional heavyweight hit, lol. But it's really fun to try something different and mix up my routine. ... show more

    • Finding stuffing was challenging

Of all things, we found stuffing the heavy bag to be the most challenging. My son wanted the bag to be really firm, so we had to find stuffing (lots of stuffing) that would give a firm effect. The boxing set comes with a hand gripper, jump rope, boxing gloves, wristbands, and a few other things that are great for those who are just beginning. I wasn't sure this was going to be what I needed but I was so impressed. You can fill the bag with ratty clothing, it's not recommended to use all sand because of how it settles. The gloves aren't bad and all the extra accessories were great. Im still setting it all up but I love it.

This set is empty so do be prepared to fill the bag with something to add weight and allow you to "punch it". The hanging kit was easy to mount to our exposed floor joist in our basement and once installed has done a great job holding the bag up. The gloves provide good padding but they aren't super durable and will like be the weakest link in this set but so far have held up to normal use. ... show more

I think this would be ideal for a teenager getting into boxing or martial arts. Or, a beginner, or someone just doing it for fitness. Doesn't scream high quality to me, but isn't super terribly expensive, either. I'll call it 4 stars.

This is a good 4 ft hanging boxing bag for our young grandson who is just learning boxing. We found a stand and easily filled and hung the bag. The accessories are handily stored in the included bag.
