I thought these were going to be solid block/magnets but when you shake them you can hear little magnets inside, does this effect the performance, no, but it was not what I was expecting. From what I understand, my grandson absolutely loves this. I sent it for him because he was in the hospital and I wanted him to have some sort of fun activity when he came home. Great colors and looks like a ton of fun to me. So from what I heard he is enjoying it.

This is fun to build with, the magnets aren't very strong though so it barely stays together.. the kit also doesn't come with the correct amount of colors which REALLY bothered my little Autistic dude that has to have everything exactly the same as the picture.
