Features

  • Professional Sound Absorbing Properties - Acoustic foams are installed to reduce noise pollution as they remove echoes and background sounds not by blocking the sound but by absorbing it. Acoustic foams are used to control the reverberation sounds make and this is quite different from soundproofing. Use our acoustic foam to treat any sized areas including acoustic studio, recording booths, control rooms and radio studios. They effectively delete standing waves and flutter.
  • Quality - Our Acoustic Foam Panels are made with flexible, professional grade acoustic foam, made for quality sound absorption in a variety of soundproofing projects. The foam is dense and consistent in firmness, so acoustic absorption performance will also be consistent.
  • More Comfort/Less Stress - The most common problem in large rooms with high ceilings is that of echo. An echo creates multiple wavelengths of retracting sound waves that interfere with the conversations in the room. Acoustic foam panels absorb unwanted sound such as echoes and noise from surrounding areas, making other sounds clearer.
  • Better Entertainment - Acoustic foam works fairly well at sound absorption and can be used to acoustically treat a room to improve the quality of sound. It is widely used for treating recording studios and theaters. Acoustic Foam Panels absorb sound generated at any range of frequencies, making them perfect for recording or listening environments.
  • Easy to Install - Acoustic Foam Panels are lightweight and can be installed to a variety of different surfaces. No special tools are needed for installation. Please note: Double tape/strips or glue are not included in package, and must be purchased separately.

  • 8 Howling Huskies... where?
Size: 52 Color: Charcoal
The media could not be loaded. These work great! Don't be discouraged by the negative reviews. I am an Author and write from my home office, however, I am also a full time fur Mom to 8 Howling Huskies! Upon first receiving, you may be disappointed at the apparent size. You may be further irritated when you see that you have to let them breathe for 24 hours to expand, or wash and dry them for faster results. However, I'm lazy and did neither of these things. I slapped 'em up on the wall with some mod podge 10 minutes after opening them. I used glue bc I had it, and glue dots didn't stick (not even the ones for foam panels). Some of them I used a staple gun where I couldn't glue, and that worked fine too. At the end of the day, you get 52 of them and they're cheap. If you have the appropriate expectations, you will be happy with them. My huskies can sing all day long and I can still work, with the sound being dramatically reduced. For me, definitely worth the price! ... show more

  • Okay product, could use quality control
Size: 52 Color: Charcoal
EDIT*** the seller has reach out and rectified the situation, so I am happy with the product/order. I ordered two packs of this... which was too much, but one wasn't enough. Good thing I got two, because about 15 of them *from each pack* where not up to par for quality. They were either cut very thin or never fully expanded, and others were proper thickness but had "tags" at the peaks about a half-inch tall. Sound dampening was as expected. Had to use a crap-ton of adhesive spray to get them to stick to the wall. The sticky squares that Amazon recommends you buy with them stick to the wall, but not the foam, so don't buy those. Have heard mixed reviews with velcro-like products, didn't try that method. Probably would go with a different supplier if I order this again in the future. ... show more

  • Pretty descent product for the price, actually do recommend.
Size: 52 Color: Charcoal
Ok. Let me start by saying these arent top studio quality acoustc pannels, those will set you back a lot more than these. HOWEVER, for the price and the quantity you're actually getting a good deal out of this. There's some reviews saying these didn't expand or that they came defective, and as someone who's bought this product twice, I can confirm that a handful indeed do come thinner, but out out of the 2 times ive bought this product, only the second batch I ordered had defective panels, and it was only 4 or them, I counted. As for the foam not growing to its proper size, I didnt have any issues with that. I put then in a spare room for a few days and let them sit there untouched and they expanded just fine. Addressing the thickness of the foam, I actually measured it and there are 3cm from the base of the foam to the top of the wedge, which is about 1 inch, exactly as advertised (bear in mind im excluding the defective units from this claim, as these arent even 1cm thick). The panels also arent all the same size, although most do reach 31cm each side, which is the equivalent of 12in. So to restate my point, this product has great value for the price. The thickness of the foam is as advertised (1 inch or 3cm), the panels, although very slightly varying in their dimensions, are generally 12x12in (or 31x31cm), the faulty units are few and can be counted on a single hand, and they do indeed expand (WITH TIME) to their advertised size. I want to add a section to advise those who cannot get these to stick on their walls. FIrst off, any double sided adhesive tape or command strips will not stick. These will stick to the wall just fine, but the foam is too porous and will come off extremely fast, lets say, 10-15 minutes from the time you stuck the panels to the wall. Instead, I recommend using a heavy duty constructive adhesive, such as DynaGrip (I tried several brands, and even though they mostly all work the same, I feel like this ones a tad more sturdier than its alternatives), which comes both in a squeezing tube and and a tbe that requires a pump gun or whatever theyre called. I add glue in dollops, in approx. 1x1x1cm size, 3 times on each side of the panel, ergo 4 on the corners and 4 in the spaces between the corners (so 8 dollops of adhesive) as well as the middle, Im sure you could get away with just the corners and the centre, but I found that this way the panels will not fall even if you lean your entire body on them (I tested this, and my cat also jumped on one and the panel didnt even budge, and she is one hell of a chonker). With the adhesive on the foam you can spread it with your finger or a stick or a paint knife, or anything really, and then just stick it to the wall. After that just press the panel on each of the zones in which you put glue (not for a long time, just give each zone a quick press and thats it, do it twice if you want to be cautious). The adhesive sticks on cement, wood, drywall, and even on metal. It will even work if you want to stick your panels to the roof, no problem with that, just make sure you give the roof panels a hard squeeze to make sure gravity doesnt tear it off while its drying. If youre looking to make a home studio or just fix a terribly sounding room, this is an awesome deal that wont break your bank. They actually d help the sound. REMEMEMBER, these will NOT soundproof your room, these will only treat the echo you can hear inside a room. I recommend complimenting these panels with carpets and rugs, as well as corner bass absorber blocks. Im uploading images of the panels individually, how they look hung up on a wall, what the defective units look like, the measured thickness of the foam, the adhesive I used to hand mine up, and the way I spread the adhesive for anyone that requires help with that. Also, I've already had these panels on my walls and roof for 4 weeks, still holding up perfectly. 4 stars out of 5, the missing star is due to the defective units. ... show more

  • Thin and the red looks off, overall its okay
Size: 52 Color: Black/Red
As a buyer of the 52 Pack Acoustic Panels, I find them to be okay overall, though there are a couple of issues. The panels are thin, which might affect their soundproofing effectiveness compared to thicker options. Additionally, the red color doesn’t look as vibrant or true to the images, which might not match well with all decor. On the plus side, they are functional and do provide some acoustic treatment for reducing sound echo. If you're looking for an affordable solution and are okay with these minor drawbacks, they serve their purpose reasonably well. ... show more

  • DON'T BUY TAPE FOR THESE!
Size: 52 Color: Charcoal
Yes, they are inexpensive sound dampening foam squares. Don't buy if you genuinely need mid- to professional sound dampening quality. I didn't need much, and was more interested in developing a "professional-looking" dark backdrop. They work great for creating that professional-looking environment! However, as the other reviewers tend to mention, the foam is too porous for tape of any kind to stick to it. I put these on a sheet rock type of wall. I used inexpensive duct tape (painter's tape would probably be better) just to get the panels in the best positon, then I used my heavy duty staple gun to secure them to the wall ... then went over the staples with a black sharpie (matte paint, etc. will work better). My reasoning was that the staple holes will be very tiny and easily mudded or spackled over, and that spray, spread, or caulk-like adhesive would cause a much larger, future hassle to remove ... if not remove the paint/primer and possibly the top paper layer of the sheet rock. Just thinking about the value of the room/wall(s) and the amount of future labor if I ever need to take them down. They do exactly what I need from them, and if you don't need mid- to professional-level sound dampening, these work great. You "could" hang carpet on the wall, but that's a heavy solution (as far as damage to the wall), more expensive, and not as easy to find the right color/pattern for the aesthetic if you're making videos. Hope this helps. ... show more
