I got a small nail in a tire the other day. I used the small size plug screw thing and it has been holding air with no leakage for 3 days now. Note that I jacked up the car and used some ultra black RTV sealant in the hole and on the screw plug, then screwed it in and let it dry for 4 hours before airing up the tire, so I have not tried using just these alone. I am keeping the rest of these in the car with my portable compressor now as these would be a great quick fix for a flat out on the road. I wish that they came with a larger size, although the 2 sizes included should cover most average roofing nails and screws, but probably not be big enough for a hole made by a large concrete nail or something like that. Still very handy to have around and way easier to use then the old method with the rubber strips. ... show more

Easy to use and, so far, efficient. I'd been pumping air in a slow leak every other day for over a month before I spotted the screw. Took it to Walmart to see if they could do a patch and was told it was too close to the side. It was at least 1 3/4" from the sidewall. So I ordered these. Three days and no change in tire pressure. I will update after it's been in awhile. I did add rubber cement over the top. If it begins loosing air, I'll try again with rubber cement in the threads. Next would be the cord style kit, but I worry my arthritis would make that harder to use. So, until update, 5 stars for now! ... show more

It's super fast and convenient to screw in! However, I tried it on its own n it leaked. Later, I used a dab of contact cement and, as of yet, there are no leaks! I recommend this product. If one doesn't have cement, it'll definitely get you where you want to go!

I bought these for my dad in Christmas and he just got to use one, they work extremely good, he had to fix my sisters tire from a nail and the plug did its job! It had no leaks, 10/10 would recommend!

I was thinking these were RUBBER as described...but they seem like they are metal screws with a rubber (thin) coating around them. I was thinking the whole thing would be more pliable and fill the gaps of a puncture. I can't say they wont work, but I was thinking they were different. I hope to never have to come and update this to a one star. Nice to have in my motorcycle repair kit...but will probably add the bacon strip kind just in case :) ... show more

Already used one on trailer tire. Pulled nail out with tire up to pressure then screwed it in with electric screwdriver so easy. Regular screwdriver would work just as easy. Such a convenience to fix a flat on the go.
