I needed an extra air pressure gauge to keep in the glove box of my daily driver and this one matched my needs. Small, Digital, AAA battery powered, and accurate. I tested this one against known accurate gauges that I already own and it passed easily. I have other gauges similar in design to this one but they are harder to replace the batteries on and use the round watch type batteries. This one uses standard triple-A that are available everywhere so you will never be without. The light on this gauge is a bonus and it's actually fairly bright and usable. I used it at 5am in the dark and it was easy to see what I was doing and read the results. I like that it has AAA battery's and the light is white and not blue! This is my third Digital tire gauge in the last 13 years and the light was blue on the first two and that blue on the first two was totally worth less! Works good out of the box we will see how long it last?

If you've owned similar tire pressure gauges, you know that the batteries last from 1 to 3 years and almost all of them use one coin cell (CR2032 or CR2025) for the pressure sensor and 3 button-cells (LR44 or AG13) for the light. They're not always easy to find and it's easy to accidentally buy the wrong one. Using AAA batteries makes it a lot easier. The gauge is accurate and relatively easy to use. I do wish it had separate switches for on-off change the measuring units from PSI, bar, kPa, but it seems like all gauges are like this. ... show more

I bought the previous version that used watch batteries which only lasted about a week before the batteries were dead. This version uses AAA batteries and appears to be working well and the batteries have held up for a month so far. I use this measure tire pressure on my KTM motorcycle. The motorcycle has a system called Tubliss which is essentially a high pressure tire inside of the normal tire. I needed something that could read 110psi as well as normal tire pressures around 10psi. This does the trick and is small enough to allow me to align it straight onto the valve stem without hitting the sprocket or disk brake. The only ding I would give this that it changes from psi to kpal to another pressure reading each time you press the on/off button so it can be confusing if you accidentally hit the on/off button twice. Overall this works much better than other type of pressure gauges I have tried and the price can't be beat. ... show more
