I am thrilled to have ordered the 4-pack Set of STEM Robotics Electronics Building Craft Kit by BeAndge Store. The item arrived in a cut box, and inside, everything necessary for the buildout was neatly packaged in four individual pouches, complete with 4 sets of instructions, any needed tools, and even batteries! The instructions were very easy to follow, using text and pictures at each step. You do have to pay attention to the subtle details of each step, but it wasn't hard to follow. I had no question that any child about 10 and above could complete the kit alone. Younger kids would enjoy this as well, but it would be more fun for them to do along with an older child or parent to help, especially to avoid frustration and because some steps require dexterity and/or a gentle tough. I don't think there's an upper age limit to who might enjoy putting this together. As an adult, this fun little kit still made ME smile. The pieces themselves were made well enough to satisfy me that it would be worth anyone's payment. I love that this comes as a mult-item set, so that the fun can be shared among a group of kids. My children like STEM projects and crafts so we decided to give this one a try. It delivered and was humorous to watch and entertainment for the dog as well! Small parts alert for those with very young children. The screws were tiny and hard to hold on to, so I gave it four stars, but this was to be expected for an electronic build it yourself toy. The screwdriver was magnetic so this helped get the screws seated in the plastic panels that make up the “bug” robot. It is labeled as a reptile, but we thought it looked more like an insect. The instructions are clear as to each step, parts needed, and what needs done at that moment in the assembly process. For those with dexterity issues or young children, assistance may be needed…but we were each, myself and two children, able to assemble our kits in about 20 minutes. The finished product is sturdy and easy to turn on and off. You could add a “cover” to the battery and electronic components with craft supplies and card stock, which my children mentioned doing next to personalize their creation. All in all a perfect STEM project for a snow day, a weekend family activity, or a birthday party at a great value. ... show more

I’m putting one together before they developmentally disabled man comes to visit. Together, with patience we will be able to make these robots. The screws are very small and go into small holes but the screwdrivers are magnetic and that makes it easier. There is a video of a kid putting one together and he’s doing great. My disabled friend loves to use tools so he will like this. ... show more

These little sets are awesome at stimulating team work and Stem skills. They were donated to a local school and I had the chance to work with students as they cooperatively assembled these. Update: We put one together. My child got frustrated, I got frustrated and even my husband got frustrated. The screws are smaller than a grain of rice. It took FOREVER to put one out of the 4 together. Once we finally finished and installed a AA battery we thought we were done. My son attempted to make it work and the wiring came undone. In order to fix it. we will have to disassemble it, fix it and reassemble it. This stem kit is not suitable for children (not even 13 year olds). The way this is packaged is nice. Each robot is packaged in its own bag with the parts and instructions. We will start assembling tomorrow. Will update once that is done. ... show more
