Have an expensive 4- bank battery tender/ charger with proprietary plugs that I have filled up. Was considering buying another, and found this instead. Great value and works as advertised. I just set to "trickle" charge and forget it. Have worked fine on car battery, atv battery, and lawnmower. Wish that the cords were longer but luckily I have enough plugs in my garage that it wasn't much of an issue. ... show more

It has charge mode. De-sulfate (repair) mode. And minder mode. Dumb chargers keep charging beyond 12.6 volts. Not good for your battery. Some chargers quit at full charge & don’t resume charging unless you re-connect the charger. This one will resume charging automatically when voltage drops. However the small print on the instructions is a challenge. ... show more

I'm contacting the merchant about these, but they do no operate in colder climates. Will update when I get a response. UPDATE: the merchant sent replacements, so I've upgraded the rating. No evidence at this point that they're any different.
