I got paranoid reading reviews other safes in the same price range so I dismantled the interior to inspect the locking mechanism and am pleased to confirm that the metal/locking rod of the mechanism is strong enough to withstand turning the handle as hard as possible. Even if a lot of torque was exerted on the handle, it would strip the threads on the handle nut before the locking rod or welds broke-rendering the handle useless instead of opening under force. I should have taken a picture, but just wanted to let y’all know! It is a happy medium between a safe and locker. It would be much harder to destroy/pry open than a simple locker, but definitely not a fireproof/thick safe. ... show more

I have kids at home, so I wanted to buy one for protection. It has many safety features that make me feel a lot more secure about storing my guns, as it has pre drilled holes and also 5 expansion screws to ensure that the cabinet will not tip easily by fixing the cabinet to either the floor or ground. It even has an alarm feature, which I really like as if there are three incorrect passwords put in or someone were to violently shake it in attempts to break in, then the cabinet would sound the alarm, indicating that someone was trying to break into the cabinet. It even has a mute function so that the cabinet could be opened quietly and secretly. Another small thing I liked was that it’s pretty light and easy to carry and assemble. There’s also two adjustable gun racks can be use for both long and short guns. Have this cabinet to store my guns makes me feel a lot safer and secure now. ... show more

Safe is nice it was bad I guess literally everything but the safe door needs assembled and I love the safe easy to set up the codes but it is silly the directions do not explain how to mount it to a floor or wall and it came with what I assumed to be protected corners on each corner and some were bent and damaged! My guess during transport! But I have no idea how to mount this dng thing and or why I have to assemble my shelf's and rifle racks inside and there were no screws to mount the shelves in places the only tools and parts where for mounting it to the wall or floor! The top shelf is very flimsy it bends in front and back of the shelf because the only thing holding it up are 2 very small and very poopy plastic snap ins. So the shelf probably won't hold my ammunition without taking damage from the weight! Also the pistol holsters on the side are very odd and seem to be made out of some kinda very cheap material the only thing I like about this safe is that I can lock my guns in it and it locks lol 😂 I definitely shouldn't have paid more than $100 for it! Let me close by saying if you I tend on getting a safe for your firearms go ahead and spend a little extra for a better product of you don't want something cheap and flimsy! Other than that it does it's required job locking and securing guns! I do however like the emergency key hole is covered by a metal plate with screws so you can keep it hidden if you choose to do so! ... show more

This was a good purchase for the price. Fits less long firearms when you have attachments but it does the job. Installation was not clear in the instructions but it's easy enough to figure out on your own. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

The setup codes operated correctly three times before they stopped working completely; a green light is displayed, but the lock remains engaged. The safe is not heavy enough, causing instability and tipping when the door opens. It comes with lag bolts designed for concrete anchoring, which are not suitable for apartment living or upper-level floors. If you have an appropriate area, an impact bit driver will be necessary to drill pilot holes into the concrete, and you may need to make holes in your carpet. Additionally, if your firearms are equipped with a scope, red dot, or anything larger than iron sights, the holder will not accommodate them unless the gun is positioned sideways. ... show more
