It screws directly into your front porch light, I recommend you purchase an SD card w/ extra storage as it's not included in purchase. Extremely clear picture during the day and night with night vision, easily install the app onto your phone, multiple settings to choose from that suits your home best. Having this security system on my home now definitely makes me feel much more secure and safe, I don't have to keep getting up to look out my door or window because I can just look on my phone to see what's happening outside.
