I'm 90-95% pleased with this bed. The finish is very nice and the instructions were SO easy. My main issues were quality control. One metal leg is supposed to slip onto the headboard, the one on the left is flush and looks fine, while the one on the right is slightly not as flush and you can tell the difference at least I could when assembling it. It would have been nice to make the legs swappable to see if it would be more flush if I reversed it? My next issue is also a suggestion! All the screws, washers, bolts are in a bubble package, plastic bubble front, paper back. It does look VERY cool but when I tried to peel the back off, it breaks off into pieces! So, how am I supposed to know which screws go into where if the backing doesn't peel off into one piece?! Thankfully I only peeled off a couple corners and peeled sections as I progressed though the instructions. Now, what if I move? I'm going to have to dump all these screws, washers, bolts into a bag and struggle when I have to reassemble it again! What the good people at Yakey SHOULD do is to package the pieces in a plastic organizer with a closeable lid, so if I have to move, I can remove the pieces and refer to the manual to place the pieces in the appropriate cells of the organizer. ... show more

First off I received my package late. When assembling the bed, the color is not as vibrant, the middle leg was bent so I couldn't screw it in. I tried several ways to screw it in and kept hurting my hand. I contacted the seller to return the item, but was told I have to pay for the return. CRAZY! I already paid $50 for you to send me a defective product now I have to pay to send it back. I even sent them a picture of the bent leg and nothing. I don't right too many reviews, but situation like these is cause to right a review. ... show more

I love this bed. I have been sleeping so great since I got it 2 weeks ago! No more morning back pain or discomfort!!! It was really easy to put together, it took my husband and I maybe 30 mins total including clean up. It’s very sturdy, and overall an amazing value. Bed frame started squeaking after a few weeks of having the bed frame. In details it said I was a squekless frame. There are no rubber buffers between the metal parts to prevent squeaks. Easy to assemble but was missing a few washers. W had some on hand. Very sturdy with the exception of the headboard. It’s only anchored about 3/4 of the way down so it wobbles a bit. I put rubber bumpers on either corner so it doesn’t hit the wall. Aside from that I only wish the head board was taller as I feel my mattress is average height and I don’t have a box spring. You get what you pay for. The bed looks nice. But don't expect to get your hanky panky on because the bed will creak with any movement there is.... not to mention when putting it together the wrench tool didn't fit the bolts. So I hope you have tools at home. Also recommend getting a low profile box spring or something to put over the bars because the bed will sink into it. Do I like the bed? eh it's okay. Is it get the job done? Yes. Will Would I buy it again? no. Do I recommend you get it? No. Definitely spend alittle more for something alittle sturdier. It was a cute bed frame and it didn’t take too long to put together, however, I only kept it for 3 days before deciding it was way too high for my senior dogs. So, it came apart quite easily and was gifted to a friends guest room. Also, there’s no sitting at the foot of this bed. Even with the low footboard it was extremely uncomfortable.
