Bought this for my daughter for her new room we built her. It was above the garage so we knew there would be some cold nights and wanted to make sure she had a bit more heat than our usual heating system. Very easy to assemble. I enjoy putting items together so this was great fun for me! Fairly easy, pictured instructions, tested fireplace before starting and checked to make sure everything was there! I installed fireplace before putting top shelf on, so easy. I am 72 year old lady and took me 3.5 hours to assemble. One door to go, but that can wait till tomorrow. ... show more

I like everything about it, however I was disappointed with the packaging because of the weight it had damage on one end from propping it upright during transit. The ends should be reinforced with better cushion to prevent damage to the ends. I used a furniture pen to camouflage the damage.

Very nice for the price. My husband and I (yes we're seniors) put it together with no problems. We have a small living area and it works perfectly. Being able to have heat or not is a plus. The doors are nice with self closing hinges. All in all a very nice unit.
