I really like that this duvet doesn't weigh you down when it is on top of you (my absolute pet peeve), because it is lightweight, but yet it is the dead of winter here and it still keeps the warmth in so well. Even when I wake up too warm, I stick my legs out and the duvet is SO cool. So it is the ideal combination of lightweight yet warm and cool when you need it. It is not a big thick duvet style, but a thinner fluffy style that feels more like the style they have at hotels. It is soft and the best feature is that it has corner loops. I made sure to buy a duvet that had corner ties because I can't tolerate duvets that get lost inside their cover constantly. This keeps it always in place. I also like that I can just grab it and throw it into the air a little and it fluffs up just right to make our bed look completely crisp and unslept-in. Great value for the price and quality and all the features. Our bed looks so much better than before when we just had a plain comforter. ... show more

My wife had been wanting a duvet for a while. I finally gave in and got one and…wow. A grand total of 5 seconds after getting in bed, I knew it was going to change sleep forever. I’d very much recommend a duvet cover for this. It is hand wash only, since you know, down fill things. That said, it’s very soft, as we’ve been using it without a cover til one comes. It has 8 “corner” ties - one on each corner, and one on each edge midpoint. This helps keep it in place in a cover, just make sure you get a cover with 8 ties. Many only have 4. Ok now to the big part - how well does it work? Honestly, this duvet is magical. I don’t know what sort of crazy thermodynamic principles are at work here, but it warms you up nearly instantly, but keeps you at a perfectly cool temp. Even with room temps up to mid 70s, it’s perfectly comfortable with it on over a sheet. I don’t know how this is possible. I’ve woken up a couple nights warm if the room warms up, but never sweating and hot like I have with our old comforter. Again, I can’t explain this other than magic. So tl;dr, this has perfect cooling/warming properties, it’s soft, and I’ve never slept better. Highly recommended. ... show more
