  • Good set of tooling with a little tweak here and there. For C6 carbide at a grest price go for it.
I liked the cheep price. But was a little surprised when i seen that the carbide was not cemented on without enough overhang to get clearance of the tool. Had to grind a better angle to get the carbide to cut without the holder hitting. But now they wotk good. For the cost. What can i say. Good starter set. And the cutter ID etched to the side of the tool is very faint if there . So the identification part lacks some thats why i dropped to 4 stars. Not real big issues but ya know. ... show more

  • Cosmetics = OK. Carbide = Tough, no chipping, properly ground. Would definitely buy again.
Cosmetics = OK, the usual cheap paint, not really a factor for me Carbide = Tough, no chipping. Well brazed. Properly ground, although can use a little honing. Has correcty clearance angles. Even has the small 'rounded' tip to keep the carbide tip from chipping. Would definitely buy again.

  • LOOKED GOOD UNTIL I TRIED TO USE THEM. NO RELIEF ANGLE.
THE BITS REQUIRED AN EXTREME PRESSURE TO GET THEM TO ADVANCE INTO MATERIAL. THEY WILL NOT WORK FOR MY APPLICATIONS. IF RELEASE ANGLE WERE PUBLISHED IN DESCRIPTION, I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN BETTER.

  • Bang for buck, not bad.
For the price they are working fine. I mostly use them on Brass, Silver, Nickle and Copper. You get what you pay for.
