Bought this for my 10yrs old son. He absolutely loved it until after having it about 6 weeks it’s not working correctly. Stores in the garage when not in use and taken very good care of. I have messaged the seller twice and still waiting for a response. Save yourself the trouble and do not do business with this company. Also beware that Amazon will not any to resolve the situation either. Horrible experience with both the seller and amazon ... show more

I gave this item a 5 star review simply because my son (10yo) thinks this is the best gift he's even gotten. While I like the bike itself and I think it's safer than a small gas powered engine, the lack of battery capacity is the achille's heel. You get about 1 hour of use at top speed or about 3 hours at medium. The bike can require 8+hours to recharge, so that puts a big damper on long-time play. It serves its purpose for now, but it make a great intermediary bike while your child builds confidence and learns how to responsibly ride before graduating to a gas powered bike that can be "recharged" in minutes,. This little electric dirtbike is amazingly fun. The motor provides plenty of torque, and with the accelerator placed like a regular motorcycle, it is easy to learn. There are no footpedals to worry about - accelerate with a twist of the right grip, and the two handlebar levers are for front and rear brakes. The suspension has good travel, and the rear wheel even has a mono-shock. Assembly takes two people as the core unit weighs quite a bit and it needs to be steadied while attaching both the front wheel and the rear swing-arm assembly. The instructions are not very good, but the assembly is generally straightforward and takes about twenty minutes. The battery fully charges in about twelve hours according to the manual. I've plugged it in for overnight and had plenty of juice the next day. The battery life depends on the level of use, but I've got a couple of hours of zooming up and down the street before it conked out. This electric dirtbike is a fun toy that any young aspiring motocrosser would really enjoy. This product is made in China. ... show more

I got this for my son so he can ride around in the summer, it was very easy to assemble he did it himself. If a 11 year old can build it anyone can. I definitely recommend it for pre teens. It’s durable and easy to use and balance on. I don’t regret this buy at all
