There is no way to turn down the humidity levels and it drowns the chickens in the eggs. I have had none hatch in this.

I'm actually pretty impressed with the upgraded features that this egg incubator has, because it makes it a better than average choice for using it in classroom/club egg hatching experiments! This is as close to 'set it and forget it' as I've seen in this price range. It does practically everything for you except add water and candle the eggs. The egg turning function is very gentle and consistent, and very low noise too. The top opens up all the way, and having the top be practically transparent over the entire surface is great for those who want to have a peek at the eggs doing their thing without disturbing them. It holds the temperature and humidity pretty well, and the thermometer and hygrometers were unusually accurate for 'backyard' incubators. ... show more
