And the new one has two ports even though I'm still using just one. I bought it because it was fairly comparable in price to buying only a USB-C cable. What happened was that the cable started not fitting or not connecting to the phone port; it would start out by charging and then just uncouple. The charger itself still works fine. I really like how long the cable is that it comes with. I no longer have to stretch out of my bed to connect my phone. 6ft long cable is a game changer. I haven't tried charging two things at the same time, but it does have the option to do that. Overall it works and I can't complain however I did notice that one time when I plugged in the charger, I did some a small spark. That raised some concern for me, so I deducted one star for that.
