As I said I use this project on a daily basis. And if you read the description it will tell you that even though it says 40 pieces. That includes the lid. When I got the box the Box on it said 20 pieces. And I thought I got the wrong thing. But then I noticed that there were 20 containers in 20 lids. I would also note that they seal very well. They look nice and they overall work pretty well. I would note that the lids on the small containers are not very good. They easily come off. And the plastic on the lids are cheap and they break easily. The other day I had put some hot sauce and one to take for lunch to work. When I got to work the lid came off and I had hot sauce all over my lunch bag. But the big containers Lids Snap-on and they are very good and very tight. ... show more

Ordered my set yesterday and received it today. The set is made of thick plastic, but I haven't unwrapped the pieces out of the wraps. These containers are much smaller than I imagined. My intentions were to be able to put the bowls out whereas using them for serving. Then after the meal, snapping the tops on, placing the leftovers in the fridge. This would keep the table neat and tidy while still being able to enjoy guests. No one would have to bother with a lot of cleanup. These containers can only accommodate small portions. These are sturdy and the lids fit tightly. They survived the dishwasher on sanitize + heated dry no problem. I didn’t read the description closely enough to realize so many of the pieces are tiny sauce cups, so that’s disappointing but not exactly the products fault.
