  • Great camera/Great customer service
Color: G300-12
Have had the Wosoda for over three years now and can tell you it is a great camera for the price ($37.00 on Amazon). Living in Iowa we get the four seasons to the extremes at times, hot summers, cold winters and everything in between. This camera is reliable and has held up perfectly. Very clear photos and videos. I had to contact customer service via email this past week. I was resetting some of the functions and disabled the "time/date" stamp. I received a timely response with clear instructions as how to fix the issue. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for very good product at a more than reasonable price. ... show more

The first one we received unfortunately didn't work and was returned.Shortly afterwards we were contacted by Wendy at their customer service who offered to replace it with an updated model. We are very impressed with their concern for our satisfaction and their efforts to make it right.Excellent company to deal with. UPDATE: The new updated model came with batteries and SD viewer and has proved to be very simple to set and use as well as taking clear and sharp photos in wet and dry weather.Excellent value for the price point.Great cam. ... show more

  • $50 or less camera
Color: G300-12
I am leaving a review based on this camera compared to other $50 or less trail cameras because how can you compare it to a $200 camera. I started out buying 1, then another and another to where I have 6 of these now and probably continue to increase as I've had a few cameras go bad on me this year. So I am comparing this camera to a mini Primos and Wild game terra. The Primos cams I had, paid $25, lasted 3-4 years, and switch messed up on both. Picture quality was not good fo daylight or night. No battery life indicator. About as cheap as they come. The wild games I was paying around $40 ea for these. Daylight pics were good. Nighttime not so much. Hardly ever clear. Did have good battery life. Bungy cord for mounting to tree, so always needed about same size tree. Video option, not so clear. Now to this camera and how it compares. Bought first one in February of this year. I love the options this camera provides. Pic, video or both at same time. Pics can be 1-3 at a time. You can select the delay between pics. Daylight pics are phenomenal. Night time pics is good. Video quality is great. 2" screen is always a good feature for setting up camera or even viewing pics out in woods. I have not had any issues with night pics at this time as some others indicate in their reviews. Overall, as a deer hunter, who hunts state land in Pa, who runs 36 trail cameras to this date, I give this camera 5 stars in comparison to a $50 or less camera. The only con i have, and its not related to the camera, but the strap. It has a plastic latch, which I broke very first one. It comes with multiple ways to fasten, I just don't use any of them. I purchased a 1" strap with metal latch, I believe I got 5 for $12. I would recommend this camera if looking not to spend a lot. ****** Update from my original post on 10 / 2022 ************* So after having some of these cameras for a year or better now, I have had one stop working and another where they view is all blurry. I believe both have gotten water into them. Now again, this is a $40 dollar camera that I have out in all weather elements constantly. What is the biggest thing for me, is every single one of these cameras will not keep time accurately. That is a big downfall for me as a hunter as it may say its 9am but actually be 2 pm. So with durability being questioned in that 1 - 1.5 year mark with time recording, I drop my rating now to 3.5 stars with still good long battery life and great picture and video quality during daylight. But there are quite a few cameras on the market in this price range that I may try such as Hawkray or Voopeak now instead. Look for upcoming reviews on them if I do purchase them. ... show more

  • Excellent Customer Service
Color: G300-12
Great value! Highly recommend! I’ve used this cam near a pond on my property as well as in the chicken coop. Image quality is good. Easy to swap out SD cards without taking the cam down. Batteries are SECURELY held in place, but I find that flipping the tray over and gently tapping it on the palm of my hand works for removing them. Make sure to use fresh, high quality Lithium batteries! Customer service is excellent! My set-up screen stopped working after about 6 months. I contacted WOSODA and had a new cam within a week! (I have had zero issues with my other WOSODA products.) ... show more

  • SD card required. Seriously?
Color: G300-12
I just received this camera and upon reviewing the set-up instructions was taken completely aback by the fact that an SD card is REQUIRED (but not included). Seriously? SD card technology is 20 years old. This tech requirement was NOT mentioned anywhere in the product description or specifications as being a deal-breaker for operating it. Can this manufacturer please catch up to the 2020's? Where is the internally built memory? I just put to death a 3-year old camera that had internal memory and DID NOT REQUIRE an SD card. On top of that, this camera requires 8 (EIGHT) AA batteries. Wow. Unbelievable. My 3-year-old camera only required 4 AAs and worked great during its lifetime. Fortunately I still had an SD card adapter for Micro-SD cards. (which is yet 10 years more current than standard SDs). Extremely disappointed. Trying it out tonight with my ancient micro-SD adapter card. If it records nothing - - RETURN. Ridiculous. ... show more

  • Stopped working after less than 10 days of use.
Color: G300-12
Edit: I updated this from 1 star to 3 stars. The company reached out to me and made things right. It's difficult to give it positives since it died so quickly, but here are a few. The features and modes were easy to use and set up. The photo and video were decent for the price. The sensor worked well while the camera was working. Now for the cons. It died after 10 uses. It started acting wonky after the 4th use. It changed settings on its own from 2-minute videos to 15 seconds videos. It only recorded daytime for 5th and 6th uses even though I did not change the settings, so I reset the camera modes and got 4 more night vision uses before the camera just died. It won't turn on. I put fresh batteries in, still nothing. I used a chord to plug it in and it was still dead. I see other people had similar problems where the camera changed the settings on its own before completely going dead. So, if you only want a camera that will work for less than 2 weeks, this is the one for you. If you want to give it a try, buy the insurance. I won't be buying this brand again. ... show more
