  • It does everything the seller says it does!

So, take what I'm telling you to the bank. ⁣ ⁣ 1. This product is being pushed all over social media, but at a much higher price. The sellers here are all over the place.⁣ ⁣ 2. I bought from this seller because of their reviews, and they're offering more space than the social media sellers, and at a lower price. ⁣ ⁣ 3. This is a perfect product and a decent price IF you're not a technical person but like to collect nostalgia, or just need something to distract the kids on a road trip. ⁣ ⁣ I recommend this product for non-techies out of the box. Because it has a little over 33000 games, covering old-school platforms from Atari 2600 to Sega 32X, and most systems in between! ⁣ ⁣ I recommend this product for techies, because it's got TWO micro-SD slots, and it supports way more memory space than you're already paying for, and you can flash it later when you're ready to change up. ⁣ ... show more

  • Unable to save games

I bought this system to play the pre installed games but I'm unable to actually save a game and I'm considering returning it as a result I even attempted buying an additional SD card and that did not remedy it furthermore I stayed in the save screen for 5 minutes while attempting to save pokemon ruby game and nothing time required says 1 minute I've now been waiting 30 minutes and then I get a message the backup memory is damaged ... show more

  • Awesome gaming council.

The media could not be loaded. I guess I really do like it I’d like that I could play some of the old games back when I was a kid in the 80s and and just reminisce about you know games like super Mario. But ultimately I just think that 30,000 game options is a bit too much, like overwhelming a bit.

  • Can not save gam progress
Style: Transparent Gray
The only reason why I’m giving it 3 star’s is because you have access to a lot of games from a broad line of consoles/arcades. But if it wasn’t for that I would have give 1-2 stars. A good note to keep in mind before you purchase, is if you’re a progress player you will be disappointed to find out you put some time on a game, and the progress won’t save. Even if the applications has a in-game save function. Other issue I have with this is the issue of closing out the game, say to go to launch a different, you have to restart the device fully to go back to the menu select. Over all this system is just a emulator, with a ton of Roms (some being buggy) downloaded to it. Just without the progression saving capabilities like most emulators you would download to your phone would have. ... show more

  • Waste of money - no support
Style: Transparent Gray
Overall unsatisfactory experience with this product. It's a basic R40S Pro with Emulationstation running on a cheap memory card and not configured correctly. The listing mentioned Wifi connectivity, but you will need to purchase a separate OTG to USB adapter and USB WiFi device. The provided image is also missing some bios and config for some popular consoles and has many duplicate roms. A single game can be provided in multiple languages/versions and count towards the "30,000" game claim. I spent several hours working through various issues with the device, only to narrow it down to the cheap SD card and a configuration somewhere interfering with saving states and leading to multiple crashes. This corrupted the data on the card. Attempting to contact the seller via their website lead to no response after several days, so I guess I'm on my own. If you have tiny hands (seriously) and do not want to save your games/settings, this isn't a bad device. However, If you want things to work properly you'll need to be prepared to cobble together everything on your own. Plan on immediately replacing the SD card with something more substantial and be comfortable with cloning drives. You'll also need to get pretty familiar with linux and how to configure emulationstation. ... show more

  • Good for slow paced games.
Style: Transparent Green
It's decent, there are exactly 30000 games (that I can see) not many repeat games and the screen display is nice and easy enough to search through too...my one gripe so far is that the buttons are stiff which is OK for rpgs or tactic games but not for adventure or fighting games.
