I purchased this inverter to use in my semi truck based on other reviews. I have to say this was a fantastic purchase. It was very easy to install and the remote push button helps with turning it on and off when I'm leaving the truck. I use it to run my microwave, laptop, and tv. I can run all of these at once and not use more than 1500 watts. It works so good that I burnt my first bag of popcorn in the microwave. Mostly because my previous inverter was much smaller and not a pure sine, so it would take almost 4 minutes, now less than 3 minutes in a 700 watt microwave. So in essence I'm very pleased with this inverter. I even bought a nuwave hot plate so I could start doing some cooking in the truck, but I haven't had time to try it out yet. My only complaint is that when it does kick on the fans it's usually at night, early mornings, and it wakes me up because of the noise level. It's not super loud, but loud enough that it's an irregular sound. It also doesn't help that my company dictates where it was installed, which is under my bed about two feet below my head. If you have the option to mount elsewhere I don't see the noise being an issue. Also, it only runs for maybe 10-15 minutes. It's a little bigger than I was expecting, but it's also the first 3k watt that I've owned. It's very well built with a hard exterior design and it just looks awesome in my opinion, because it's not a dull black shell. I run a 10 foot extension cord with multiple outlets to a single plug on the inverter and it handles with ease. ... show more

I designed a solar power system for a maintenance shed at our model airfield located in a state park where we have no electricity. I used four large storage batteries and needed a pure sine wave power inverter to provide clean 110 v. AC for operating power tools and for charging model airplane batteries. I needed a remote on/off feature, and this model had precisely what I needed. The unit has been installed for two weeks and used several times. Most recently, it powered a construction air compressor and ran a hand grinder for 6 + hours. It did not even get warm and provided power to spare. This is the third power inverter I've purchased over the past 8 or 9 years and it is the best one by far. The one thing that could be improved is the digital display. I could be brighter so it would be easier to read. Overall, this is perfect for my application, and the price point is competitive. For my money, this gets 5 STARS! ... show more

As my title says. Got here fast and works great. Hooked up to my bank, plugged in, no issues. Beeps if you get low and will get more annoying the lower it gets. Kinda gives me an idea of how long I have before shutting off the coffee pot on the dark days lol.

I use this to charge battery packs on my power tools, run a small refrigerator or a small heater in my tractor trailer. Works great no problems at all. The only thing I can say that someone may not like is it can be a little noisy when the cooling fans kick on to cool it. I had two AGM batteries that were in great shape when I replaced them with lithium batteries in my little teardrop trailer. I didn't want to waste the batteries, so I had an idea to use them with an inverter as a portable unit - I found this inverter (pure sine was a requirement of time), battery cables, a fuse and a victron smart shunt. Once I had them all connected, granted its a bit heavy so I put it on wheels, I have exactly what I wanted. Then I put it to use - an outdoor movie theatre setup, power tools in my garage and during a power outage that lasted almost two hours, a fridge in the garage. All worked without any issues, the victron kept me informed about usage of the batteries and draw and the inverter kept power going without any hiccups. I keep this attached to a battery tender so its ready when I need it. I highly recommend this inverter if you are looking for value and quality. ... show more
