When I ordered these 300 1/4" inch steel shot slingshot ammo balls, I thought I was just adding a fun new toy to my weekend activities. Little did I know, I was actually signing up for a thrilling brush with destiny. The package arrived quicker than expected, leading me to believe that even the postman was eager to see what chaos might ensue. As I opened the box, the gleam of the steel balls promised precision and mayhem in equal measure. They were perfect, menacingly round and alarmingly shiny. My first attempt at using them seemed simple enough. I set up a target in the backyard, feeling like a suburban sniper. However, I quickly discovered that these weren't just any slingshot ammo; they were tiny agents of chaos. One misaimed shot, and I sent a steel ball ricocheting off a garden gnome, through a bush, and into the side of my shed. The sound was a pinging promise of an impending homeowners' insurance claim. Yes they tell you that they are 1/4 in. However, that is smaller than I realized! I guess I should have gone with the 3/8 inch! Great ammo for your slingshot though!
