  • Isn’t holding air!
First off, the pump you get with this is manual and it would take a team of people a long time to fill this thing manually. I had a little 12v pump for tubes that I used. I’ve been tubing and towing people for 30+ years so I know how inflated it needs to be. Got this filled and the first time out using it, had to add a LOT of extra air after the first riders. Then again, a LOT of extra air needed after the 2nd set of riders. After the third set I just decided it was too unsafe and that ended tubing for the day. I’ll try to figure out a way to check it for leaks but most likely will he sending it back. Super disappointing. UPDATE: Going down from 2 stars to 1 because I shouldn’t have a damaged product, a crappy patch kit, and have to be doing all this after 1 use! I pulled the bladder out of the shell and in the process I could hear water sloshing around INSIDE the bladder. Tried to get as much as possible out of it which isn’t easy because the air intake valve is deep and you can’t just let the water flow down to the lowest point. It then has to get up and over the portion of the valve that’s protruding on the inside of the bladder. Then I notice a large wet spot on the ground in another area away from the valve and a very noticeable, large cut (?) in the bladder. It literally looks like it was caused by sharp object. The hole is on the underside of the bladder near one of the back corners. (The front is rounded.). I checked the shell for a correlating hole but found nothing which tells me this was damaged when it was assembled in the factory. I follow the steps as described on the patch kit, refill the bladder with air, not in the shell, and left it to see if it would hold. Come back within and hour and it’s already lost a significant amount of air. The patch kits are CRAP! (Using a softer word so this doesn’t get rejected.) It absolutely doesn’t seal because it’s basically a process of cutting the right size patch from a circle of bladder material that is provided and putting what is essentially a piece of tape over it. No glue and no fix. I happen to have patch kit glue for a pond liner so I am going to try that with another piece of the patch material to see if I can seal the hole. If this doesn’t work I’ll be asking for a bladder replacement or sending the whole thing back. ... show more
