I installed a couple of these on outdoor lights in my side yard. The motion sensing is sensitive enough and there's very little delay in the lights coming on. Installation was simple, but there's no way to check that everything is working correctly till it actually gets dark (covering the sensor doesn't seem to trigger the motion sensing). Added these to shop area and if get blocked from the sensor it turns off to soon(15 seconds). I can't figure out a cheap way to keep the contacts closed longer. works great for walk through motion setting or alarm but not for any extended period. If the time period works for you then this is the cheapest way to go for motion sensors. Unfortunately I need 5 minutes. ... show more

The activation distance is about 10 feet and only lasts about 15 seconds. They were easy to install.
