This is my review on the Portable Air Conditioner. I would consider this more like a fan than an AC unit. It works well. It comes with ice packs for its cool mode. For the price its a decent little fan. It is a tower style fan. I can recommend this product. Thanks for reading my review.

    • Perfect for hot summer nights!
This evaporator is AMAZING!!! It doesn't do the job of a window unit, but it definitely gets cooler than a regular fan that circulates hot air. I was impressed with this because it has a large venting area, large water capacity and comes with ice packs. The biggest thing about evaporator coolers is that they can't run on cool without water or the evaporator will mess up. There are timers on the cooler that can be set to make sure the machine shuts off before the h2o runs out for peace of mind. This cooler is quiet so it doesn't disrupt sleep, and the varied adjustments allow for a good bit of customization. Is this a good value? You bet!     • Works well for the $20 price
The fan was ordered on February 27th and arrived the second week of April. This took a long time to get. The fan bottom comes in 2 pieces and has a flange that screws on to hold the bottom piece on, which is very easy to do. The fan has three speeds that are fairly strong. There are four gel-packs that come with powder in them and need to fill with water. The fan has a container that water goes into. The colder the water (hence the ice packs), the cooler the air. This is not an air conditioner but when you are hot, a $20 option to help cool you could make all the difference. ... show more

    • I Use the fan function only
If I lived in a dryer climate, I would probably use the “water options”. However, I have used this solely as a fan, and it is amazing!!! I would get another just for this alone.
