The cable has thick wire gauge. There's no adapters or connections in between the cable one straight through cable. Using it between my amplifier and my speakers my creative speakers. Sound is solid a lot better than the thin headphone jack extension cord I was using with an adapter. Be careful if you're doing this though your amplifier can blow out your speakers. ... show more

Wire is cheaply made and might make buzzing sounds the first time in use. Let out the word. I have had problems with a few of them minutes after i took them out to use on the first try.
