At first I was hesitant about buying one of these, the asking price of $60+ was a bit steep for an RGB extension cable. However, since I had 10 of the same brand Lian-Li fans that were going into my pc I said screw it. As I was building my pc I was actually very glad I got this extension cable, because the 24 pin connector on my power supply was a royal pain in the ass to plug into my motherboard. I was attempting to do a bios flashback (which requires the CPU and 24 pin connector to work) and my 24 pin was so hard to plug and click into place that if I put any more force onto it I think I would have broken my motherboard. Thankfully, Lian Li came in clutch with their extension cable, which snapped into place with barely any real force and connected easily to my PSU's 24 pin connector. RGB lighting looks good, it's a nice aesthetic addition to really any PC, L-Connect software is pretty easy to use as well. Thanks Lian-Li. ... show more

Replaced my old extension cable, it was very thick and didn't bend easily, this thing was so much smoother, very very flexible and simple to install, looks very nice, worth the extra money! not to mention i ordered a " used like new " one and got a completely new and sealed one!

As you know, the RGB cable market doesn't really support the 1x16 pin cable on GPUs like the newer ASUS Prime GeForce RTX 4070 Super OC. The Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 12+4Pin (12VHPWR) - to 3 x 8pin - PW168-8PV2 Black is the best you can get for it. It works flawlessly, although you will be left with an empty 8-pin VGA since this cable provides three, and only two are needed. Luckily, the RGB extension cable is long enough to be tucked behind the case, never making the 8-pin VGA cables visible. So if you're looking for an RGB GPU cable that supports the newer 2x8-to-1x16, this is your cable right here. Just be sure you are not daisy chaining the 2x8-pin. If you only have one VGA cable inserted in your PSU that splits into a 2x8-pin daisy chain, don't use it. You need to use two separate VGA cables, each inserted into their own PSU slot without a daisy chain or you risk burning and melting cables. 8-pin VGA cables are cheap so grab an extra, and make sure your PSU supports more than one VGA input. ... show more

The only thing I need to complain about lian li is how much lag it goes through to react to the lighting program I have using the motherboard. But it actually came to my benefit to stimulate the flashes and crackling of lightning. The cable quality is really good, they are nicely sleeves and the clips help keep everything together behind the LEDs, and I recommend this to help with cable management. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I built a new gaming PC and had my eye on these for a long time. I am glad I finally pulled the trigger and got them. Lian Li did it right with these. They are very bright and have a lot of options for the light sequences. The software is light and easy to use and the installation was super easy. The controller hub included is great and can hook up other Lian Li products to it as well. The cables are more flexible than I thought they would be but do still have some rigidity to them. For anyone wanting to add some more flare to their PC case with some crazy RGB lights or even a little accent lighting, these Lian Li Strimers are a great product to get! ... show more

I love the look of the strimer but there are a few changes I'd make, have the connectors (the place where the pins go to the motherboard available in both black and white, and drop the price a bit, but overall, good.
