The media could not be loaded. I built a new gaming PC and had my eye on these for a long time. I am glad I finally pulled the trigger and got them. Lian Li did it right with these. They are very bright and have a lot of options for the light sequences. The software is light and easy to use and the installation was super easy. The controller hub included is great and can hook up other Lian Li products to it as well. The cables are more flexible than I thought they would be but do still have some rigidity to them. At first I was hesitant about buying one of these, the asking price of $60+ was a bit steep for an RGB extension cable. However, since I had 10 of the same brand Lian-Li fans that were going into my pc I said screw it. As I was building my pc I was actually very glad I got this extension cable, because the 24 pin connector on my power supply was a royal pain in the ass to plug into my motherboard. I was attempting to do a bios flashback (which requires the CPU and 24 pin connector to work) and my 24 pin was so hard to plug and click into place that if I put any more force onto it I think I would have broken my motherboard. Thankfully, Lian Li came in clutch with their extension cable, which snapped into place with barely any real force and connected easily to my PSU's 24 pin connector. RGB lighting looks good, it's a nice aesthetic addition to really any PC, L-Connect software is pretty easy to use as well. Thanks Lian-Li. ... show more

Just plug it in and your done. The L Connect App is simple to use and has some great options for the strimmer. Nice bright colors and looks good in any build. I tend to keep my brightness down 50% on all my RBG products.

I picked up the Lian Li Strimer Plus for my rig mainly because I wanted something flashy, and it's been pretty cool. The RGB lights add a neat look to my setup - definitely a step up in the style department. The build feels solid. The cables and adapter are sturdy, which was a relief. I'm running a 4090, and there haven't been any heating or power issues, which was something I was initially concerned about. It's nice to have something that looks good and also works well. Installing it was pretty easy, although the cables are thicker than normal ones because of the lights. Took a bit of time to get them set up neatly, but the final look is worth it. Overall, the Strimer Plus is a good mix of style and function. If you want to add some RGB flair to your PC and need something reliable for a high-end setup, it's a solid bet. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Overall, I really enjoy these cables. I did buy them because I wanted to add a splash of RGB into my build. The installation could be kinda confusing for the less tech savvy person but is simple enough. Having to download the L-Connect software to get the most out of the cables isn't a deal breaker for me but I could see it being an issue for people that don't like to download any software that isn't 100% necessary for their system. Installation is a snap. It does leave a lot of extra power cable you have to pack away in your back case area, but that's a mess anyway and adding these doesn't make it appreciably worse. I love the various animation modes and ways you can set them up. The ones that simulate little spikes of electricity traveling through the cables are the most amusing. Just generally expensive nonsensically extravagant fun. And who doesn't love the ever popular "Unicorn Barf Rainbow Mode"? ... show more
