It's the perfect size for my kitchen. Works great and the seals are tight. Just a couple small things that are worrisome. 1. The hinges are plastic and one of them makes a cracking sound when opening the lid. 2. The fan or motor makes a low pitch honk sound when turning on and off. (Like a German car alarm at a distance) I put oil on the hinges which helped a little. And I guess I need to open the motor compartment and oil that too but I shouldn't have to.     • Piece of chinese trash sold on Amazon, go figure!
Bought this freezer less than a year ago, and the hinges both broke off from normal use. The top is made of the cheapest plastic garbage known to man, and even looking at it wrong will scratch it. Took over 2 hours to get all the stupid "protective" plastic off the unit, and still had some left on it when I chucked it into the dumpster where it belongs. I only bought this crappy freezer because it was black, and finding a good black freezer is next to impossible for some reason. I should have gone with a Magic Chef, their products although made in china as well have some quality control. If you're going to buy this garbage, get it from Walmart, so when it takes a dump on you, you can take it back and get a refund. ... show more
